I feel like my favorite game types were the stealth ones. Or ones that required strategy. Games like Team Sneaking and Rescue. I was definitely never the best at these games, but they were really fun.
And with the maps, I loved pretty much all of them. The only one I didn't care for was AA, which just was a little too close-quarters, combined with open areas, for my blood. My favorite map was definitely OO. Loved the layers and setting to that map!
If gaming is your main hobby, like it is to me, then of course. Lots of great launch titles.
But if gaming is just something you do when you're not at your day job, or just when you have a little free time, maybe not.
All depends on where your priorities are set.
It was there because 1) Move is made by Sony... and because 2) Media Molecule's new game looks mighty interesting, and implements the Move in what seems to be a useful way.
That's pretty neat.
Now would be cool though... :/
If the PS4 launched with GTA V as well, I would cry sweet, sweet tears of joy.
Lol yes! I cannot wait for cross-game chat on a Sony console. Besides the Vita, I mean.
It's a great game, that's for sure. But the PS3 exclusive I've logged the most time on is definitely MGS4.
@riverstars86
They're only willing to pay it because Live is required to play multiplayer games with friends. I bet that if they made it free to play with friends, half the people paying for live would cease. Live really doesn't offer anything outside of multiplayer, and when the only choice is to pay the fee, then of course people will do it; that only makes it profitable for so long, until people realize they shouldn't need to pay for something like that.
God of War level design is always brilliant! I recently replayed through the trilogy and rediscovered that first hand. Can't wait for Ascension!
Or they'll keep it free and make the social aspects as good as live, which, if you ask me, is basically adding party chat.
Probably the PS4...
I disagree. I could never see myself playing a game that requires any kind of precision on a touch screen device.
That being said, I do very much enjoy old, turn-based RPG's on touchscreens. Final Fantasy 3 is a great example of games that work extremely well on touch devices.
Just knowing that it's the PS4 will make it feel great in my hands! But yeah, it does look 'beefier' than the current dualshock.
I agree, the last one is by far the most creative. But I'm sure Sony already has a great logo in store for the new Playstation.
Hey nice review! I mentioned the load times in my review of the game as well, ( http://tinyurl.com/a8nt3ms) and that's really what brought the majority of the score down for me. Also I found some of the motion mini-games to be boring, and playing as Murray has significantly lost its' charm.
But great game besides those things! Nice read :D
I completely agree with most of those flaws. I remember the first time I tried to set up an account and was baffled by the whole thing! Go to the Konami website blah blah blah. Too much.
The only problem I had with headshots in the game was when it didn't kill a person like they were meant to. Headshot glitches, in my opinion, were the worst thing about MGO.
Second to that is easily, in the later lifespan of the game, the amount of glitching in Survival a...
I do take comfort in that! I honestly can't wait for the next MGO because it'll be like getting the old gang back together. Everyone that has played this one is sure to play the next, and hopefully it'll be just as great!
I didn't mention all of the other game modes, like Rescue Mission, Base Mission, etc. But Rescue Mission is definitely my second favorite behind Team Sneaking. It's slow pace was so great. Like, that's what stealth multiplayer should ...
Woah! Sorry folks! I didn't realize that this was already accepted, I posted it once then I just thought it disappeared because it wasn't showing on the site. So yeah, don't accept this one! Thanks.
It's the Final Mix of the first and Birth By Sleep. Both remastered in HD. I'm sure there is bonus content as well, like makings of and whatnot.
