Teen Sonic? Sonic has always been a teenager
The only thing more egregious than this DLC being overpriced is how so much of it should’ve been in the base game, especially considering how much content in this DLC is recycled. Similar sentiment goes towards Pokémon Sword & Shield’s upcoming Expansion Passes.
I’ve seen various articles praising how these titles are bucking their series tradition of reselling the same game with new content in favor of selling you $30 DLC. However they tend to neglect how much of ...
When Xbox 360 launched, PS2 was still the industry leader
“With this in mind, there may be no better person at the helm to help direct this than Xbox 360 veteran Jerret West. Not only did he help launch the Xbox brand to a household name, but they were strategically (if momentarily) able to create an industry leader with hardware.“
When was Xbox 360 the industry leader? It quickly got outsold by Wii globally in 2007 and it quickly got outsold in various territories such as Europe, Asia, & RoW by PS3 in 2008.
I still don’t know how I feel about that price though.
- Final Fantasy XV had a $25 Season Pass that also contained a substantial amount of content.
- World of Final Fantasy had a $16 upgrade to get content from its Maxima version.
I know this Re:Mind DLC will be substantial, probably moreso than those previous examples but I hope that it’ll be worth it. I was just about to purchase it when I noticed it cost the same as Mega Man Zero/ZX...
Xbox is incapable of winning any generation
Still can’t forgive how Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite was handled
Exactly. Knowing the specs isn’t going to make the console come any sooner
FFXV is the most successful non-MMO game that Square Enix has in the modern era
Of course they’re not going to let it die
Yeah people would be more excited no doubt, but it may be too early in the game’s dev cycle to show off
You’re more likely to see the next Horizon or God of War at this event than you are with the next Spider-Man
You’re making it seem people won’t get interested in PS5 at all if Spider-Man isn’t there when the system gets officially unveiled. There’s various ways to generate interest in the console besides just that character.
Besides that, the next Spider-Man game is a ways off. When companies reveal new systems they tend to put more focus on titles that are coming out sooner rather than later, and the next Spider-Man game is likely years away from releasing.
It’s way too early to be showing off the Spider-Man sequel
Sony is more likely to show off games that will be at or around the launch period of the PS5
FFV - Gilgamesh
FFVIII - Laguna
FFXI - Prishe
FFXIII-2 - Caius
FFT - Ultima
FFType 0 - Cid
KH - Sora
Yeah we need updated numbers from Valve. In Jan 2019 it was reported PSN & Steam had a MAU count of 90 million by Jan 2019.
It’s safe to say that a year later the numbers may still be similar but we’ll still need new numbers for Steam to truly confirm it
At a monthly active userbase of 103 million players, PlayStation Network is the largest gaming platform in the world.
Sony and Microsoft should really be selling these systems for $200 by now
Next goal is outselling NES
Just bring every title from DQI-DQIX to those platforms
Could’ve fooled me. Every year I just have more and more to play on PlayStation consoles
Nah dude the series peak was Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix
