“First-party titles like Halo 3, Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition, and Kinect Adventures provided Xbox fans with gaming genre variety”
Minecraft wasn’t a first party title when it released on Xbox 360
Having a game subscription service in general is a sign of desperation?
Yet at the end of the day the PlayStation 3’s launch was still more successful than Xbox 360’s, so that really doesn’t help your case.
In fact
Xbox 360 sold 1.5 million by the end of 2005
PS3 sold 1.84 million by the end of 2006
Xbox 360 sold 10.4 million by the end of 2006
PS3 sold 10.5 million by the end of 2007
Xbox 360 sold 17.7 million by the end of 2007
PS3 sold 21.3 million by t...
What matter most is how you carry the console after launch.
Xbox One had a far more successful launch than Xbox 360 yet at some point after 3 years it started selling at a slower rate than its predecessor
PS3 didn’t arrive late, it released when it should’ve alongside the Wii.
Microsoft just rushed Xbox 360 to market and it shows. No HDMI port at launch, no built-in WiFi, disc tray that scratched discs, and RRoD out the wazoo. I respect Sony more for delaying the console from its Spring 2006 initial release date rather than also rush a console just to get a temporary one up over the competition
It’s another win for the Ouya. The competition didn’t even come close
I still prefer the Mega Man X series over the classic Mega Man series
Are people really celebrating Nintendo’s shortcomings like it’s a badge of honor?
The only character reveal that’d make me get this game would be if Sora was finally added to the roster
@ Kernel
Dude Pokémon sells more in the West than it does in Japan.
Do you really think a similar situation could ever happen for Dragon Quest of all franchises?
They’re going to fly off shelves next holiday
We need a new Sly Cooper game especially after the cliffhanger from the last one
Interesting how many elements of Fatal Fury and King of Fighters is in SSB
Who honestly didn’t see this coming? Microsoft has been building up to this naming scheme for a decade
Xbox 360 S
Xbox 360 E
Xbox One X
Now they’re not even being subtle anymore and are just naming the console Xbox Se-X
Microsoft are nearly as unconventional with their naming scheme as Nintendo
Jill what has this engine done to your face?!?!
That’s true but PS4 & XO owners get Vanquish instead with both games on disc with a steel book case for $20 cheaper than Switch’s physical Bayonetta bundle
Getting Bayonetta & Vanquish physically nets you an awesome steel book case all for $40
What did getting Bayonetta 1&2 on Switch net you?
It doesn’t work when I tried to use it. It only offers $180 a year as the sole yearly option
Xbox first released within Japan during 2002 though
