It’s clearly saying FFVIIR is taking a more action oriented style to its combat similar to FFXV as opposed to the original FFVII
It’s a wonderful feature like Remote Play
“Indeed, not every single one of Sony’s game of the year games needs to be on PS Now, but there needs to be some incentive to pay for the subscription service outside of playing its sizeable back catalog.”
I subscribe to PS Now for its large lineup though. That huge library of titles is as big an incentive as any.
“The only thing really left for Sony to do now is to reward its fanbase the same way Microsoft. If PS Now hopes to keep up its momentum, it nee...
“One of the most widely beloved RPG franchises of all time, the Tales series has spanned numerous games over the years, with one of the most well known being Tales of Symphonia for the GameCube.”
Tales of already has representation in Super Smash Bros in the form of a Mii costume of Lloyd Irving. I wish it’d return in SSBU.
Representation in SSB isn’t just playable characters it also counts as either having assist trophies, background characters, trophies...
Disney doesn’t make games that license them to other developers
I didn’t even know the Stadia community was big enough to be considered significant
I don’t trust Konami doing justice to any of their series nowadays
Super Bomberman R is the only outlier
You really trying to use the release date of a slimline model to justify why they shouldn’t be budget priced in every market?
Dafuq? Various elements of SMB2 have always appeared in various games
These consoles are 6+ years old already. Their tech now is no more advanced compared to PS2 & Xbox’s tech in 2006 and those were at budget prices. PS2 in particular was still selling gangbusters when it dropped to $100
PS3 has more advanced tech for its time compared to PS4 & XO in their time and the former was still able to reach $250 after only 5 years on the market.
Like I said, No 6+ year consoles should still be $300 in the first place.
@ dr
You really think PS3 & 360’s hardware failure rates are comparable? 😂
Of course PS3 had hardware failures. Even my PS3 suffered a YLOD. A lot of people suffered from it like they do with most consoles. But they were nowhere near the extent that Xbox 360 had which was over 50% of the original models.

@ Captain
“It was declared the worse selling *Xbox* console in history.”
Xbox Ons already outsold Xbox. Dafuq you talking about?
@ Jeece
“Sony repeatedly shot itself in the foot by delaying PS3 a year and then launching at $600 mistakes it never completely recovered from in the U.S.“
I prefer Sony not rushing PS3 to market. It was the smart move to delay it and release it the time they did. Microsof...
No 6+ year consoles should still be $300 in the first place. It’s high time Sony and Microsoft started aiming for the budget market sooner rather than later
Street Fighter still kept a significant lead over every other fighting game franchises during the 6th gen.
The direct reason Street Fighter fell behind its competition in overall sales is because Street Fighter V sold less than Mortal Kombat X & XI as well as Tekken 7.
“Devil May Cry series is currently at 21 million copies shipped.”
That puts Devil May Cry’s numbers under God of War, the current most commercially successful character action franchise.
“The Street Fighter series as a whole is now at 44 million copies shipped.”
That puts Street Fighter’s overall total under Tekken’s and Mortal Kombat’s numbers
Pretty sure EA owns Fuse. Even if they didn’t does anybody really think Sony is Insomniac would want anything more to do with the franchise?
It recycled too much content to be $30
@ sept
I’m not saying they should stop supporting Xbox consoles, only that an exclusive for an Xbox system wouldn’t sell as much as people were expecting Scalebound to.
“With both Bayonetta & Vanquish available on Xbox One via backwards compatibility, however, the real winners here are PS4 owners.“
True. Xbox One owners already have a way of playing Bayonetta and Vanquish, so it’s really PS4 owners who have the most to gain from this collection.
I’m aware this version will have better visuals especially up to 4K than the BC versions, but being able to play the titles at all is a bigger plus than better visuals.
“Perfect for the Switch” might as well be a meme at this point for how overused it is.
