Splinter Cell and Rayman go dormant while Ubisoft homogenizes the market with their live services
“You'll still need PlayStation Plus to play these games, but the potential is astounding.”
You don’t need PS+ to use any online features for the games offered on PS Now. This isn’t like XGP.
“The CoD developers themselves acknowledged the declining interest in story by totally ditching campaign in Black Ops 4. Now that Modern Warfare is bringing back a Price-centric campaign, however, fans are hyped for single-player once again.”
The bombastic campaign mode was the only reason I ever played any Call of Duty
It’s revolting to see what Konami has become
All those properties going to waste
Nintendo just released info about their sales in North America and this analyst is comparing those numbers to other consoles in the same region
How is that cherry picking?
Why do you also need to compare PS1 & PS2 numbers?
@ King
Yeah shipped doesn’t automatically equal sales, but a company wouldn’t be shipping that many units if there weren’t as high a demand to necessitate that shipped amount in the first place
Are Switch owners really bragging about this?
Before they get ahead of themselves about outselling an aging console let’s not forget that in Sony & Nintendo’s financial reports in the first half of 2019 shows that
- PlayStation 4 shipped a total of 5.8 million hardware units and 97.6 million software units.
- Switch shipped a total of 4.6 million hardware units and 46.52 million software units.
1. NBA 2K20
2. Mortal Kombat XI
3. Borderlands 3
4. Madden 20
5. Kingdom Hearts 3
Idk how to express how I feel about this development
Are you really asking if a compilation that’s $60 on ever other digital store is worth the same $60 on eShop?
Even though they’re handhelds the PSP & Vita should’ve been on this list since they were important to the evolution of gaming controllers
PSP was the first system to have a home button, of which has since become standard on every controller & handheld going forward
Vita introduced the touchpad that was later utilized by the DualShock 4. Another thing to note for Vita is that it was the first handheld with dual analog sticks that was later adopte...
Twisted Metal was Sony’s longest running IP. Shame to see it just fall off
@ Kae
Microsoft executives already confirmed why Xbox 360 has its name. This isn’t up for debate
https://www.itprotoday.com/...
The Xbox 360 name was chosen to imply that the gamer is at the center of the Xbox experience.
The Xbox One name was chosen to be the embodiment that this becomes one device that addresses all the entertainment that you want to enjoy on your TV.
With Microsoft’s anachronistic way of naming Xbox successors, one can only imagine that its name will somehow involve how Microsoft wants Xbox to be the main hub for the consumer’s lifestyle.
You really comparing one developer to the biggest third party publishers of the industry? At 143 developers, Game Freak is a mid tier sized developer
A reminder that digital only dedicated gaming platforms can’t work
I can’t understand people who justify Rockstar only working on one new a game a generation
Then stop blocking cross play for other games
“Though they've grown to become graming staples, handheld systems were one of Nintendo's first gimmicks.”
You really dilute the term gimmick by calling the Game Boy & its entire legacy a gimmick.
Gaming hardware is never going obsolete
