Imagine a young man who was just released out of prison is accused of stabbing his girlfriend to death in front of 25 witnesses, captured on video surveillance, a handwritten confession and plans are found in his apartment and he is arrested at the scene with the weapon in hand and blood soaked clothes. But, even though there is such overwhelming evidence his mother screams "no, not my boy, I don't believe it,. He is a good boy that wouldn't hurt a fly". No matte...
You didn't disprove his point. Size has nothing to do with the argument of being overrated. Steam is currently looked upon by many with rose colored glasses. Many people put up with the issues because they have amassed a large library with their Steam account. Steam has issues that would have been fixed not long ago. I remember how fast they fixed things when they were still a growing upstart. But, like you said it is large company that dominates the PC gaming digit...
Please keep your personal political beliefs out of these threads. We already have enough animosity between the various gaming factions. We don't need to integrate off the rails political discourse into them as well
I don't know if it is a fad. Way to early to tell accept that narrative. However, this idea of not sure if VR would be a fad is why I said last year when the PSVR came out I would wait until E3 2017. I suspect by than the dust will have settled on both PSVR & Switch's releases and I could see what Scorpio will be providing to the overall console gaming experience. I did opt to replace my PS4 with a Pro instead of getting the PSVR. After this years E3 we wil...
It is funny to me that people think that by removing the dock from a Switch it would actually mean subtracting $90 from the overall cost of the Switch. Sorry, the value Nintendo is selling an additional dock is ridiculously marked up and you shouldn't base your expected calculations on that price. The actual cost to produce the dock is probably at most around $20 in parts. I suspect it is a lot less to do but lets just assume it is $20. So a Switch minus a ...
Of course you should believe both people. Why because they are both part of publicly traded companies that can't falsely report incorrect info that may influence investors. In the US it is a serious infraction. Well I know Albert for sure can't because he works directly for Microsoft. I don't know how Naughty Dog is structured so Neil may have more legal wiggle room fudging numbers.
@bluefox755 Considering all the talk from everyone how they were looking forward to Last Gurdian and how they were getting day one then yeah, I would think it's numbers are a disappointment. Funny, it was wasn't a niche game when everybody was championing it. By the way there are a ton of Zombie games out there, nothing new with Dead Rising and considering it is getting mixed reviews there are better games to spend money on. Isn't the PS4 the one with all that...
Overreact much? I guess I should suspect nothing less. That reminds me aren't we due for another storm of the century. It has been a couple of years since the last one.
I don't no where you get your lunacy. But, console gaming is not dying. What is dying is the need for casual gaming device that Nintendo has created for so many iterations. This is even more a case for not needing a portable gaming device like the Switch. That casual gaming device is no longer relevant for most general consumes that bought Nintendo in the past. They have moved on to other devices. And this is why I fear the Switch will ultimately fail beyond the initial group of purchase...
They don't make conso le games. I believe they make Dead Effect that was a mobile game (iOS, Android). Later the game made its way to Windows. If I remember correctly it was a FPS kind in the vein of the Dead Space. You know space station gone mad: aliens, zombie like humans. .
Obviously you don't have kids or you are kid whose parents buy him everything. With kids in the equation (at least 12 and under like mine) it means replacing things: lost controllers will happen a lot. Left one joy-con at the pizza parlor. A son says his friend Jimmy had it last but, Jimmy says Miguel had it, Miguel says I never had it. Kids fighting over one and it breaks, etc... There a many reasons kids will add to the cost of this device that will not...
I give this 15% believability. It gets 15% because Scorpio has been in development itself for several years now. And if there was one division in the Microsoft Studios that would have been consulting directly on the needs of the development community to Scorpio hardware/SDK teams it would be 343. So probably having inside access for that long they could have been moving up the pace for Halo 6 sooner based on Scorpio. Of course, this is a big if. But, not so unrealistic it is not possib...
Truthfully, although I like many Nintendo games, I am not a big mobile fan so I wasn't excited for the device in the first place but, three guys who work for me (and who I game with occasionally) were on board and convinced me. So, I became quite excited and had plan to join them in purchasing a Switch immediately upon it's release. That was prior to the reveal event. After the show, to put it mildly, we were all fairly disappointed. Only one of the four, a...
@peewee11016 I am little confused about your spec comment towards Bigpappy. 6TF and 320GB/s were actual specs in that announcement video. I doubt those will change to be less. Especially the bandwidth. It was such an exact statement. This is also another reason people believe it will not be a Polaris based GPU because it would require rewriting a damn lot of that's GPU hardware to support that big of increase in memory bandwidth. Secondly, other sites (like Digita...
Why don't you have a laptop that does both Xbox One and PS4 in one case? Remember this cool mod? Quite impressive putting both the consoles, with a monitor in fairly small portable device.

So you want stop some one else voicing their opinion when asked about something on twitter? All because somebody might make a story about it here? Who's fault is it? Not Spencer's. It is these other sites that made it a story and the people making it a big (pro/con) deal here. N4G is just the Enquirer of gaming news. All the news stories mostly unfit to print but, created elsewhere with the headlines reprinted here. This site ...
Why don't you tweet him and ask? If he replies (like this story) maybe you can post it here. I can see the title now: "Spencer crazy over Cocoa Puffs, not so much love for Reese"
My favorite part of the show is when they brought out the game developer who hadn't even started coding the game yet. But, he said it was going to be great.
By the way don't blame the translation delay for the jokes not hitting their mark. The weren't funny in any language, delay or no delay. The problem was it too stiff (e.g. the CEO) when it shouldn't have been and too goofy (over the top) when it should have been less so. It was jus...
Another reason to be worried about where they are with this devices final development. With that cluster-F of a reveal it completely skipped my notice but they actually never showed the device in action. The only showed shots of the device, controllers and some accessories. No here is the UI or here Todason playing Zelda live or anything close. You would think with less than 2 months away most of that would have been locked down on features and barring some minor changes they cou...
