@SkippyPaccino Sorry that argument about Son of Rome causing Cryteks financial issues is laughable. They are a company that has always overstepped it financially and Rome had nothing to do with it. Maybe it is the four of five studios they opened up over the years but hardly producing any content. Since Crytek was fully paid by Microsoft to build the game they didn't lose money on it.
Titanfall, It sold better overall to the limited population at the time compared to...
Yeah, I feel the same way about Nintendo. Those Mario sales would really pickup with the 90million Xbox and PS4 console owners and add PC into the equation, man Nintendo could be reaping in the money.
Strange, though they could make a killing selling Mario and other Nintendo IP on other platforms they don't. I wonder why? /s
No it I is not coming to Mac anytime soon or ever.
In a post on NeoGAF, the developer stated that "this Cuphead game" will be available on Xbox, Steam, and Windows 10 versions at launch, with a GOG launch likely to follow shortly thereafter. He also stated in that post that they are not limited to Windows and a Linux or Mac could be a possibility down the road. They never said it was coming to Mac at all just that it was not locked to Windows. And clarified the...
Sony has timed exclusives. PSNow will have PS4 games going forward. So, sooner or later any game of consequence will be playable on the PC via PSNow. Is it the best option, no not with the current downgraded visuals PSNow has at this time. But, it also means those games are not truly exclusive to that console as well.
Perhaps this show you did should have been months ago when all those Sony exclusives were arriving. Arguing this point about exclusives in general seems quite weak at this point considering that Sony is apparently the one this past year that has been releasing them on their device. Where was the question then? Where was it with Street Fighter 5? But, a little platform game comes to Xbox console and now it is a question you must ask. In fact, it is really only exclusive to the whole MS envi...
Funny, because trending on N4G at the top along with this story is another store about the lack of Xbox exclusives. N4G must have a four five stories a week about the lack of Xbox exclusives argument. And people pile on in these stories on how little Xbox has and they need more. But, when they have an nice exclusive that everyone seems to want then argument switches to people believing exclusives are bad or people argue it should come to the PS4 because it a bigger market.
It is not coming to Mac. The actual developer said it "could" come to Mac or Linux in response to a question about it being a Microsoft exclusive, not that it was a planned option.
This is not unexpected news. These consoles, because of all the customization, take years of work before they hit the market. If Microsoft is truly done with console generations, as we know them now, then the design for basic working of this new console was set forth probably the same time a Scorpio was. And now a small (early in dev) engineering team after signing off on XBOX (Scorpio) have naturally turned their attention to continuing the design goals they set forth for this non-generati...
@goken Please go back to the Hufffington Post so you can spew your liberal zombie crap elsewhere. We don't need it here. We have enough mindless fanboyism on several fronts to deal with already and injecting your wacky or not political views into any article only shows the need for you to go cry elsewhere; you need a safe space where your stupid political rants will be appreciated.
@SolidStateSnake I don't have a problem with it. I prefer this new generation followed by mid gen model we are seeing now. But, if Sony and Microsoft wanted to bring out what they (we) consider a new generation every 3 years (with BC of course) I am fine with it. I don't think developers would like a three year cycle but, me personally it would not be an issue.
Other entertainment activities cost a lot more for a lot less reward. Heck, I spent more on two U2 conc...
@JaguarEvolved Sorry, if people think $499 for a device expensive there is no way this dream of a next gen console (from either Sony or Microsoft) will be able to even be close to that acceptable console price range within the next few years. With this new generation hardware requirements anything within a year to two it would be well out of pricing range unless they cut the usual corners again. I suspect you consider the next gen console APU should be based on Ryzen and Vega, right? AMD...
Well you better not bet with "pretty sure". You lose. It is still there. Sumo have said several times that cloud based destruction is for online play only. Makes sense, single player does not require always on internet connection.
I thought this was about Anthem and Bioware/EA. Now we are talking about something that has nothing to do with this article, Ubisoft and Ubisoft has nothing to do with Anthem.
We will have to wait and see how both Assassins Creed and Anthem play out. But, from all the developers responses after having actually being hands on with the XBOX devkit I think we will see a great deal less "downgrading" or any then we have in the past. By like I said, in this case we a...
Just because you have a PS4 Pro already doesn't mean you can't get excited and appreciate this new look. Even though I already own a Xbox One I have been excited over the years about the many of that consoles cool paint jobs as well. It is also about personal taste. I also have the original PS4 Pro. And I personally find the recently released gold edition just sucks donkey balls but, this glacier white PS4 Pro is quite nice looking.
Wrong! Bad analysis from the first article. Sherlund has been wrong so many times about tech in recent years. How is that Alan Mulally doing at CEO at Microsoft? He was so sure about that prediction wasn't he. He had a good track record of tech in the previous decade but, the last 5 or so years have been pretty rough on him. By the way, most of the divisions were reorganized. All of the consoles are not under the same divisions as gaming software, entertainment and services . Panos is ...
Of course the PS4 fans have their heads screwed on, they just have them screwed on backwards. /s
Was that a Freudian slip? The PS4 in the rest of the world is one "head" (singular); meaning you are all part of some PS4 groupthink, unable to make decisions on your own unless Sony tells you it is OK to think that way. Sony says EA Access is bad, yes it must be bad, can't have that. Sony says BC is bad, yes it must be bad, can't have that. Sony says cro...
@MagicBeanz "You seem upset that I asked a simple question. smh"
You didn't ask a question. A question has a "?" at the end of the sentence. Otherwise, you are making a statement, perhaps being snarky or sarcastic. You must remember that the PS4 fanboyism is strong at this site. They rush in mass to comment and down vote any Xbox or Switch story more than they have actual interest in any PS4 article. So, knowing this people react accordingly,...
