Stop, just stop with that BS PC Quality crap. Every time a person says that an angel loses their wings. And heaven is seeing an epidemic of wingless angels of late. 95% of PC gamers can't even do what the Xbox One X can do. Most PC's gamers are lucky to run at 1080p at medium fidelity settings. I mean seriously, people come here and act as if every PC gamer is the same with an i7 32GBRAM and a Titan. Not even true by a long shot. Most don't have anything like a NVidia 1080 ...
1. Pre-order inventories are very limited. We don't know the numbers but, like you say lets pretend they are very small number for the Scorpio run. However, by saying that, you are essentially admitting that the PS4 Pro sales (at least at Amazon) have dried up. It only took the X and it's supposed small pre-order inventory a couple of hours to surpass the total sales of the PS4 Pro 2017 (1day vs 233days of sales). Yeah, I get it is not the No...
Seriously? You want to start a war of what feature each OS has over the other. You really don't want to play that game. Their are plenty of "face palms" when looking at the PS4 as well. As a owner of both systems, I have a list of things that my Xbox One does do that my PS4 still doesn't do. And vice versa. Heck I have a list of features (things I and many others would consider important) that my old PS3 does but my PS4, even after four years, still does not do.
What? Most gamers (95%+) would have to spend over $500 to get a card the performs as well 4K wise as the XBOX. And what about a display? Oh, that is right most of PC gamers (including that very small minority with 4K capable machines) play on those itty-bitty 30" or smaller screens. Most aren't even near 4K capable. Costs are starting to add up to not be in the living room with the XBOX simplicity of just gaming. And how many of those little screens are HDR enabled? No, HDR? With...
Get your facts straight. It shows how much you don't know. Microsoft is worth $558 billion or over 11x the size of Sony. Not 80 billion. And what lead do you have that says it cost them $400 to manufacturer the console? Are you an investigative reporter or as I suspect (like your lack of knowledge about of Microsoft's worth) just making things up now. And just like any rich company or person. They stay rich by making sure they don't spend unnecessarily and then adjust. They ar...

What number of pre-orders work for you? I mean come on. Lets put this into perspective. At Amazon it sold more on the August 20th then the total sales of it's mid-gen competitor, the PS4 Pro, has done at Amazon for all of 2017. That is 1 day vs 223 days of console sales. Is that the type of context that works for you? I guess you could ask Sony for their breakdown numbers. They did say 20% of all PS4 sales are Pros. So, if you think that Xbox One ...
Well over 95% of those PC's gaming rigs on Steam is what we are talking about. 4K and uncapped my a$$. That is in the 1% or less of this PC rig group. Love how PC games always pretend they are part of that very, very, very small percentage of actual rigs that can do play at that levels. Most PC gamers are like little poor kids with noses pressed against the outside window of the candy store, watching the fat little rich kid gulping up candy as they dream they too are the fat little rich...
@G20WLY5 Then what is Sony's spin? The Pro is supposed to be 20% of all PS4 sales. Yet, this limited run, as you so rightly noted, of just the Scorpio edition sold more in 24 hours at Amazon (less than a single day) then the PS4 Pro has sold all year at Amazon. That is 1 day vs 233 days. And like you said this was a limited run and we don't know the exact number. But, the number was large enough to overrun the PS4 Pros sales up to this time. (You can down vote me all you want but...
Str8Chaos74 Leaves out TV Pricing? Just as much as PC gamers seem to leave out they buy monitors that are either cheap crapfests monitors to play on or if they really do care spend as much on a 27" or 30" monitor as a reasonable 50" 4KUHD TV can be purchased for by the average console player.
And anytime we bring up consoles playing on a larger 4K TV, PC gamers always like to say they can do it too; they aren't limited. But, PC gamers leave out the litt...

Look who now is running under assumptions. Could / Should / Would.
However, you right maybe they took some of those op...
@FITgamer Stupid? Who? I am personally just noting Amazon's own sales numbers. And assume other pre-order stores are experiencing the same. We don't have exact numbers but, the Xbox X has already surpassed the total sales at Amazon up to this point in 2017 for the PS4 Pro total sales. That means it took the Xbox X only a few hours to outsell the Pro's total sales of 2017 (1 day vs 233 days of sales).
How can we look at it? Either the PS4 Pro is not selling w...
I already mentioned this in another thread but, the XBOX on Amazon so far has done more in Pre-Order sales in one day then the Pro has sold the whole year. According to Amazon total sales for 2017 up to this point the XBOX is #63 overall gaming sales vs #90 for the PS4 Pro. We can only guess the actual numbers but, Sony has said that 20% of all PS4 sales are the PS4 Pro consoles. If that ratio is true we can assume that 1 Pro is sold for every 4 PS4 base units on Amazon as well. We can o...
Recently Sony itself said 1 out every 5 PS4 sales is a Pro. 20% of your sales isn't a niche. Now 5% of overall sales would be a niche product. The Pro doesn't sell more because people are buying the cheaper version as is expected. this is true of any product line (TV's, cars, watches, etc..). The same will be true with the Xbox S vs X. Phil said as much.
But, back to the Xbox X. We know Sony PS4 sell a lot of consoles and 20% of that is PS4 Pros (Sony's ...
Does that go for Sony for those first party PS4 exclusives that will be playable on PSNow at some point? Shouldn't we change that definition Sony uses as well. I am just curious on this issue. We are so concerned about the word "exclusive" meaning with these rule it will never be on competing platform going forward. We worry about the terms like "launch exclusive", "timed exclusive", "console exclusive", etc... shouldn't that apply to PS4 ga...

@UnHoly_One Sorry but, you absolute 100% wrong. That is not how LED displays work. I have actual engineering of the LCD on my side. You can talk all you want but, it is not going magically change how LED displays work. Although, some modern smart TV's can adjust the backlight power a little (lower the color intensity). Even so it is always on and emitting light that the crystals must use more energy to cover up that light create those darker colors.
Yeah that is right all those people were Xbox gamers trashing the PS4 update. No PS4 user (wait did you say PS5) would ever dare go against the Sony gods. /s Try harder again next time. Not all PS4 gamers find the need to just fall in line. Few PS4 users actually think that 5.0, as it has been announced, is worth the full numeral update. And those that believe it is a great update are completely in the minority. PS4 owners, like myself, find the update almost completely full of fluff. The...
