I think what he is implying, and as a Pro owner myself, feel something is happening with the lack of the push by Sony in supporting the Pro. I wish Sony was more proactive with promoting the Pro and it's capabilities the way Microsoft seems to pushing support of the X. I just see a different mindset on how each is handled. They treat the PSVR like the golden child and seem to treat the Pro as the big & strong step-brother but not the one you bring to fancy parties. The Pro has sold ...
@G-haul No alt-fan-boys have an irrational dislike for Microsoft. Bungie, from Microsoft days, for the most part does not exist at anymore. And yes, Bungie probably due to their marketing agreement with Sony is not to able to talk about any other console other than the to recognize its existence. The same way PUBG doesn't talk about that game coming to the PS4. But, we know it will at some point it will exist. It would be foolish not to come to the PS4 at some time down the road. Or...
@Gority I think the point is PC gamers speak in group think. As if the fact that a small majority represents the rest of their group. By saying just PC you all frame things disingenuously. Unlike the console when we say X (or XBOX) you know we refer to the XBOX One X, a singular set of designed tech. When one says "PC" it it is not a singular set. It is as if you suddenly ignore the rest of the weaker siblings. The XBOX will out play graphical almost every gaming PC out their peri...
Proof? Just say things and they must be true. Unfortunately for you, according to Amnesty International, there are plenty of links to Sony (Samsung and Apple) to child labor violations in China and Africa. Maybe that is what Sony means by using protecting children form cross-play. They are protecting themselves form finding out how bad Sony's continuous violations against humanity are.
Microsoft has no security issues. No reason to put blame that their security as an issue on this. The issues over the years have been Sony's weakness on security. What does this really say how weak Sony's security is if they still haven't been able to beef up security after all Sony's previous issues. If Sony is calling out security fears than with their history I would worry more about my current info at PSN with or without any cross-play discussions.
Microsoft is taking a much broader approach now than was set forth by just cross-play between two consoles. If Sony ever finally comes around and wants to be part of this they will have no power to define the coalition that is being established now. I think since there is a greater group being formed (Steam, Nintendo, Windows & Xbox, rumors of others) In our lives today online gaming is more extensive and growing. The mistake of not being involved is much greater mistake than when Microso...
@trooper_ But that is the point Sony was supposedly all for in for console cross-play until the competition agreed to doing it too. Then suddenly Sony changed their tune after years of saying "yes" and the only thing that is changed is the competition finally saying "yes" as well.
What it looks like is Sony was never interested in doing cross-play with the Xbox they just new Microsoft wasn't either and it was easy to take a fake "yes" sta...
And how many of those years did Sony say "Yeah were want to do cross-play with the Xbox" but, Microsoft was a no go. How many years did we listen to PS fan boys lecture everyone on how good Sony was for cross-play between the consoles and Microsoft was evil and not for gamers. But, as soon as Microsoft changes it's tune Sony suddenly says "well not really interested". Who was full of BS all those years? Sony was only pretending to care about cross-play with the Xbox ...
You sure have selective memory. I definitely remember all the PR crap from Sony and their minions about the Xbox One's graphical power and other BS issues Sony created to flame some artificial fires back upon that consoles release.
Sure it does. There is always somebody with a better machine then your PC. This is the true with every PC rig, they are all compromised to that fact. If you are not the one machine this week that has the latest and greatest then you have compromised your best of best experience because some one else has that true best experience, not you. Like it or not, with all this blubbering about PC is the king (like in the real world, there is only a few of those) it stands that more than 95% are c...
@LP-Eleven Name one first party game enhanced for the X that is not true 4K? Crickets chirping... I can name several first party games from Sony enhanced for the PS4 Pro that are not 4K? So, it seems the semantics is the game you are playing. Microsoft promised true 4K from their games and so far have delivered that. The only option that they have given third party (and have said this from the very beginning but, PS4 fan boys continue to feign ignorance) is to provide these developers t...
@DARK--DRAGONITE We do know that has a lot better total numbers in 24 hours than the PS4 Pro as had for all of 2017 at Amazon. So, if we want to assume that Amazon is typical of sales as other stores (which I don't see any evidence it isn't other than they sell a lot more of everything they sell) than we can extrapolate with some knowledge that X is doing just as well if not better in this initial pre-order session than the Pro house done for the past 8 months. Or we can assume that...
Ask Sony what their numbers for the PS4 Pro at Amazon are for the year so far and we can assume that the Xbox X as done a lot better than that. Where are Sony's PS4 Pro numbers they hide it in things like 1 in 5 sales are Pros.
Nah, don't think so.... least desirable opinion piece, possibly. It is in the running.
I've decided from now I am going to just comment and not read articles like this. I will just assume it is the same trash as usual. No clicks, just comments from me.
