Nothing says forced out like saying A: " I am looking for a new challenge" or B:"I want to spend more time with the family." House took the most common excuse used by executives being pushed out, "I need new challenge". I am sure House is getting a great severance package to keep his mouth shut and just play nice but, this was not his choice to leave. If you believe it was his move, I have bridge to sell you.
Funny thing is the Kodera is responsible for PSNow and all the online cloud based services Sony has with PS. So it should be just the opposite with Kodera, expect more cloud based focus.
And what exclusives are you talking about? Do mean first party PS4 games coming to PSNow?
@Trez1234 The hint is who they replaced House with. It is not hard to read the tea leaves. Just look at Kodera's resume at Sony. He is responsible with the launch and growth of PlayStation Store, PlayStation Plus subscription service, PlayStation Now, PlayStation Vue, PlayStation Video, and PlayStation Music. Where was he not involved with SASS or other online services. And yes in the past there have been hints by various Sony higher ups of the future of SIE. It is not like they are ...
"Can PC technology ever dominate the living room?" They do and it is called PS4 and Xbox One. There will soon be 100 million of these devices in peoples living room.
What even comes close? It won't be the Atari device for sure. This a company that has 30 or so employees and market value of $120 million dollars. So, once again tell me how they are going to anything other than another Ouya or an even weaker Steam like device. All Atari really has is the r...
Well considering this thing was on the pirate boards after the first one was sold that means many PC gamers are just avoiding paying a measly $20 for it. Seriously, Steam is the easiest platform to pirate from. And if anything has taught us there a lot more PC gamers that are willing to steal over buy. You probably could multiply that 120k by 20 (or more) and that is how many people are playing the Stream version thanks to pirating.
Unless you are one of those thirty. Remember that next time when some other company lays off 15% of their workforce. 15% would be like Microsoft laying off 12,000 people, Nintendo laying off 780 or Sony laying off 19,500 workers. It's not a big deal, it's only 15%.
As soon as you said ATIFA and BLM I started laughing so hard as it reminded of the episode with the kids creating that ninja training club, not realizing they had actually joined ISIS. Meanwhile the boys felt so proud people were really scared of their ninja outfits and awesome skills ("Wow, the fellas were right; people are really freaked out by ninjas!")
Shouldn't the title be "Destiny 2 players raise $500,000 for Disaster Relief". I appreciate what Bungie is doing by collecting the money but, they are still selling a digital item of no real worth other than enabling a way for people to contribute to disaster relief. So my kudos are really for all those people buying the Desinty 2 pin, all for a good cause.
This is what happens when somebody who likes to laugh at all the other people and symbols of society being hit hard from South Park's no hold bar humor has something that affects their sensitivity levels exposed. Sorry, they take no prisoners. Sometimes it works hilariously. Sometimes it doesn't, falling flat. Mostly it is the former. As for author of this blog he had his buttons pushed. Too bad his constitution is only strong enough to support things he is already apparently has n...
Yet there is a 2017 total sales for the year list as well at Amazon. There are more than one sales metric you can look at Amazon beyond the hour sales numbers list you seem to be fixated on. The X has been climbing that total sales of 2017 list. And this is even considering the limited pre-order numbers made available to Amazon The X has made good dent so far in sales in total video-games for the 2017. Even if you believe that the X has very small numbers for preorders (taking a page fro...
@Rude-ro Sorry the S CPU is boosted because of the new shrunken chip set. It is running the same clock speed. The same shrunken 16nm chip design is in the PS4 slim. That CPU boost is minimal at best. In fact you should question why PS4 Slim is not feeling that same silly little boost as well on the CPU end. The GPU bump from 914MHz to 853MHz offers very little advantage over the previous model. Actually what is boosting speed of some graphics was the bump in ESRAM speed from 204GB/s to 2...
@melikepopcorn "cleavage and boobs have nothing to do with gaming, period." Have you actually ever seen the games that come out in Japan? Actually most never make it to the West. In Japan there is a good percentage of games that are based on large breasted young girls (sometimes too young IMO). Just look on the N4G home page at some of the games. I can't make up a better point. There are always 2 or 3 articles about on Japanese games containing such big boob women in the gam...
The point is casual gamers. Will that large cache of casual gamers to stay away from the Switch in large numbers when the tally is calculated at the end of the Switches lifetime. The same reason desktops took a hit early first part of this decade is the same reason many people who would have bought a Switch will stay away. They have phone they have will do what they want for casual gaming. At one time, many of those phone users would have been an easy sell for a Switch type of mobile gami...
Why is it a pointless comment? Shouldn't we assume the PC will also have the worst version as well. In fact I am willing to take bets that the more people will be playing the PC version of any game on lower fidelity then even a PS4 can do rather than anything close to the Pro or X gaming capabilities. For some reason we never have to clarify PC before. Using the term PC always seem to imply that that 2% of gaming PC's with a 1080 GTX are the norm. No the norm of the gaming rig is...
@thekhurg Your write thekhurg you don't get a $1200. Shame on you fathertime4464 for getting it wrong /s You actually get more than a $1200 machine for $499. Not one person/article that has tried to put a device together with similar capabilities as the XBOX has been able to do without cheating (and being called out on it that cheating) or having to spend over $1200.
@thekhurg Please point me to actual build that shows it was able to do anything under $1200 that hasn...
