Your right why one anybody that has bought stock in EA not want to cash out . How could investors even ponder this. /s especially after EA lost 10 billion in overall value in the last 2 1/2 months. Along comes Microsoft and offers to buy you out plus 20% You make that loss back instantly instead of several years of gambling hoping you can make it back. Yeah, how dare those large investors say "Show me da money". What were they thinking by buying stock in the first place. For ...
100% true. If you are a gamer on Xbox, PC or even an honest PS console owner GP is by far a better deal. However, if Sony actually kept PSNow for the purpose it was designed for, making it available from hardware like Blu-Ray players, smart TV's, crappy computers and tablets then PSNow would actually be a relevant option for many consumers. Right now PSNow is essentially a way for PS4 players to pay to play for backward compatibility. With the current limitations, the quality of the str...
The only reasons EA (which won't happen) were to be purchased is for the very reason that they are a western company with games that appeal to western users. Talk about folly, it would madness to continue to throw money at Japan. Spend money to expand areas where they have a chance not continued to be doomed.
Back with EA and that 99% ridiculous rumor of buying them out. The one area it makes sense is too push their Gaming Pass service. Still sell the content on oth...
What are you talking about? Everything released on music still comes on CD's. In fact a large amount of new music is purchasable as records. You just aren't looking for it or buying it. But, all that media still exists and CD's were declared dead over 10 years ago. I personally still buy discs for some of my music. I have a friend that still buys many releases on records. Same goes for video it all still available. Especially true considering streaming BluRay is not even c...
@PoopsMcGee Lets just pretend this rumor becomes true and Microsoft takes 40 billion of that 160 billion they have in the bank and bring back to the US to buy out EA. Not likely, but lets pretend that becomes reality. First, I don't think Microsoft would foolish enough to stop supporting multi-plats with many of the current line up of EA games. This is especially true for games that have yearly schedule and built-in following on multiple systems. This include the EA sports lineup for...
I don't believe so. That would require them to make games for any system. I don't see all those games on the Switch, do you? And if was that true FIFA and NFL, NBA, NHL, UFC, etc.. had stipulations than one must come to the conclusion that the MLB is just plain stupid. Because, the last time I checked Sony licensed baseball from that major sports league and it doesn't seem to be forced to make their licensed baseball game on multi-plats. EA does multi-plat it because it makes t...
@Monkeycan8 I thought everyone hated EA. Every time EA is mentioned a constant barrage of gamers say they would never buy their games from EA and hate the company. Saying it is plague among the industry. Isn't EA the worse company to work for. Wouldn't this be a good thing if EA is such a bad company. Wouldn't Microsoft make it a better company to work for. You can get any lower than "worst", can you? Now everyone is worried about, EA, the plague of industry now ha...
I was thinking the same thing. For all intents and purposes we are like the antagonist character in Predator movies. We are aliens to the environment who enter an ecosystem for the sole purpose of hunting down creatures to add to our own trophy collection.
@UCForce were you worried about all those arcades that disappeared with the modern rise of consoles ? What about all those people? Companies adapt or die. Why is it upon me to worry about them. If they don't provide a valuable service they go belly up. This is how capitalism works. In the 80's when board gaming ruled the day Gamemaster stores were everywhere. Today many of those mall shops no longer are around. They went belly up because of the growth of computer/console gaming...
I think you are confused this is not a post-apocalyptic zombie/mutant/robot infused single player over-dramatic story driven game (with lots of cut-scenes) so I am afraid it will be of no interest to PlayStation fanboys.
"Could be disastrous...." (cue ominous incoming killer asteroid music)... Quick where is Bruce Willis to save us all... Please... I have been told over and over by people in comment sections of the years that buy actual media they do not care of digital and call us that do fools for not owning the media. They like to own, trade-in., share, etc... Are you now telling that a majority of those people that were so adamant for supporting actual media are going to be so weak with their...
@Pancit_Canto Please name the one you know that does have better effects so we can be the judge otherwise you are just talking out of a lower orifice. I guess when most people say something "does" or "doesn't" they will back it up with proof that opinion has value. For me, if I am going to contradict something I would provide at the very least links. Or actually to extend the discussion provide real evidence from where the opinion originates.
These are the same effects that are used in the Forza Horizon 3. I can't remember if it is Forza that uses Rares water tech or Rare that is using Playgrounds tech. Anyway they both have very impressive water effects.
Choices are choices. The only proof so far about anything is jealousy that seems to permiate from the PS4 fanboy today. You all are full slippery slope arguments and along with a slew of fan boys "what if's" that make Michael Pachter prognostications look like he is the greatest sooth-sayer ever.
WTF? This has nothing to do with GameStop. Read, it is Gameware a small shop in Austria. I doubt they are losing a lot of money dropping the hardware. I would say the samething if it were the PS console being removed from the shelves too. Both those devices do not provide a great deal of profit space, epesciallly for the smaller stores that do not have the purchasing power to drive the costs down (even a few bucks) or can afford to take the sales hit to make up for it in the software sales...
Denial for what ? This is no different than a bodega in New York City that stops carrying the New York Times because the Times now provide a digital edition. I bet that small dinky story on Bedford Ave probably has more customers a year than this mom and pop Austrian store. Do you think you the New York Times is crying over a single small convenience store throwing a hisssy fit over their digital move? Probably not but it definately has a bigger impact than this Austrian store has on Xbox.

This is nothing like Diablo 3. I love Diablo and this game definately looks fun but the gameplay and style in Monster Hunter is nothing even remotely like Diablo. Witchter has as much in common with this game then Diablo. Which is to say very little other than hunting and fighting monsters. But, the same thing could be said about hundreds of other games as well.
Yes another PS4 fanboy with no experience of this game. You don't own a Xbox that is for sure. You proably don't even know how to turn an actual computer on. Hey, come tells us more about how the Xbox sucks. Your posts history shows such quip (/s). Haven't you heard, trolling too much will make you go blind.
This is literally the full list of comments for the past 24 hours. He must not like hanging out with stories about his beloved love tool the PS4 too much. A...
