Not a fan of Japanese games but it's plainly obvious the launch over there is not to win Japan. They are launching to at least have a presence. Winning or even selling a bunch on consoles is not neccessary. Imagine that, XB1 is getting more 1080p games. Not to say it doesn't take some work, but it looks like it is getting easier.
Playstation users are holding devs at gunpoint with this resolution thing. It is getting very old. I never remember it being this bad.
I would understand if Xbox was like 480p and PS4 was 1080p but the gap is not that huge. It's only huge because people have made this gen all about resolution.

DX12 has been in development for years. How can you legitimately say without extreme bias it won't help Xbox One much when the box was designed around Windows 8 as the OS and with DX12 in mind. Right now XB1 is using the old bloated DX11.2 which not only has a high overhead despite being close to the metal but also can't adequately multithread. Spot on, it's also funny how just a few days ago Dualshockers writes an article based on a job posting for someone who can assist with APIs and multithreading, Sony fans immediately jump on it as an answer to DX12, which by all accounts won't help XB1 according to them, but multithreading on PS4 will help. Give me a break!
