Sony is paying devs to announce to bolster the perception that the PS4 is a true next gen console.
900p upscaled to 1080p on X1 and I'm good.
Completely disagree. Music did not suck. Halo 4-6 Trilogy are much darker than Halo 1-3. The music of the first series was all about exploration, rallying troops against technologically superior aliens, etc. Halo 4 was more about unraveling a great evil. Humans had advanced greatly in technology after Halo 3. Master Chief had spent some time floating in the dark confines of space. Cortana was in the final stages of rampancy. Chief was contemplated whether he was anything more than a cybernet...
I thoroughly enjoyed the music in Halo 4, as the new trilogy is far more darker. If you have ever read the Forerunner books and especially Silentium, the you know what I mean. I enjoyed Marty's music in the original series, and if he did go to 343i I would hope he could improve on the ambience (which I think is vastly underrated) instead of trying to get everything back to how it was.
I have 100% faith Titanfall 2 will not only look better, but will play better. Remember this is Respawn's first go at this, and they were using a very outdated Source engine.
7.5 not a 10.
That's crazy.
Okay. Cool.
Sony Fans were so amped up after getting thrashed the better part of last gen by Nintendo and Microsoft on the portable and home console front. Now their anger has spilled over and they've become so deluded they actually think that PS4 is more powerful than PC and that good games only require they be 1080p/60fps. Pure delusion. Their fanaticism has ruined the gaming community.
You don't seem very smart. Lets say you have 10 processes to run.
Using 1 thread it takes 10 seconds to run.
If you split the process into 2 threads, now those processes are running concurrently and take 5 seconds.
So the process running in 5 seconds is 2x as fast the one single threaded process, even though your hardware has not changed.
LMAO Burger Time?! I had no idea they remade this.
I predict next update to occur 2nd Week of May, on a Tuesday. Windows is regularly updated on these "Patch Tuesdays".
I want my light bar to turn bright green.
The fact that every dev has to explain why every game runs the way they do is very telling. It was never a big deal last gen, but ONE GROUP has consistently made a big fuss about resolution and framerate at the launch of every major exclusive and multiplat game of this new current gen.
Spoke to an insider that says GTAV will be 900p on PS4, and 1080p on Xbox One. Says Rockstar really likes the ESRAM and Cloud.
I loved my PS3 but switched to X1 because I thought it was overall a better console despite being slightly less powerful. I do more than game so X1 fits my needs, Kinect and TV integration work well. Aside from maybe TLOU there are very few Sony Exclusives that I just wake up and say "I've gotta play that".
It's okay to admit that they were less than stellar which would be true. Character models are high poly, but the sense of realism is not there due to flat textures and unrealistic skin lighting.
More compute units does not equal better which is why MS disabled 2 of the 14 CUs and went with an OVERCLOCK.
Yea ok
So this is the first gen where devs are proud of their games?
Facts are nobody gave a damn last gen as long as the title was in HD.
They are using res and framerate as defining selling points for games now, and that is troubling.
