Kinect and Move are 2 VERY different things. Kinect can be used for voice control, full body motion tracking, motion control using limbs, etc. Move can ONLY be used for motion control using your arms, more specifically only 1 arm if you use the other hand for the controller.

in 3D, the framerate has to DOUBLE to get it to run at the same framerate as in 2D, so Uncharted 3 would have to run at 60fps in 3D.
in 3D, the resolution has to go from 1280x720 to 1280x1470 to maintain a 720p image.

The main reason things here in Australia are expensive compared to in other countries is our population. 20 million people here vs what, 200 million in the USA? Smaller market means higher prices. the original is there on XBLA for all to buy and play, and it doesnt look *that* bad even today. why waste 12+ months just redoing graphics? sony have been doing HD remakes because the original games dont work on the large majority of PS3s out there - but the large majority of original xbox games work on every 360 out there, so theres no need to do HD remakes. its purely a money making exercise.

if sony were doing a 5 hour conference, based on the % of time they usually spend talking about sales figures and stats, about 3.5 hours of that 5 hours would be spent on stat/figures.
but theyre not doing a 5 hour conference. as others have said, its a 2-3 hour conference like always, and then the rest is some other event - probably for the press to play some of their games.

i had to get the amazon exclusive Lancer for Gears 2 imported by a store so i could get it in Australia, ended up costing like $350, but was well worth it. hopefully this one will be easier to get.

no, there is only 1 reason - sony used the PS2 as the trojan horse for blu-ray so they could make it the standard format for movie releases. thats the only reason blu-ray is in the PS3.

people dont seem to realise that there werent really many more choices of games that sony could give you - unlike the 360, the PS3 doesnt have dozens and dozens of 'on demand' full retail games. last time i checked it had a small handful. combine that with the fact that they would obviously only give away first party games, because it doesnt cost them a cent, and you get a good idea as to why your choices are slim.

i only quit matches for a few reasons:
1. people continuously glitching/cheating.
2. unplayable lag.
3. teammates inactive/not playing properly
usually i make a decision in the first few minutes of a match, and then stick to it - quit straight up, or stay and finish the match. nothing worse than being 20 seconds from winning a match and then the whole opposition team leaves just because they cant hack losing. i often finish matches of COD/Gear...
