i swear, we may as well rename N4PS3G to N4-IP-CORE-PS3G. deadset, 75% of the comments on this site are PS3 fanboys raging about "core games" (they downgraded from "hardcore games" because they mustve finally realised it made them look like the immature teens they are) and "IP" (i highly doubt half the people saying it even know what an IP is lol).
games are games. who gives a $hit if its kinect or wii or regular PS3 - youre not "cooler"...
@MikeCosgrove: "The casual audience might not want to pay for another product that looks a little like the Wii and even shares the same name."
seriously, you need to stop posting about this lol. thats a remarkably dumb thing that you just said.
"casuals" know 1 thing - brand recognition. why did the PS2 sell like gangbusters? because of the PS1. people, as a whole, are idiots. they follow trends and buy whats 'cool'. the wii name i...
"But that would also mean more working PS3s than 360s, just from my own experience"
lol what a stupid thing to say. so because you bought 2 360s and only 1 PS3, that means that there are more working PS3s?
ive bought 2 360s and 2 PS3s - launch 360 RROD'd twice, got it fixed for free both times, then after about 4 years of ownership the GPU died so i bought an arcade and slapped my HDD on it. my launch PS3 up and died last year from the YLOD, so...
It's not like the ds3 at all, if that's what you're trying to say (hard to tell if that was a pro 360 or pro ps3 controller comment lol) - the analogue sticks are up in the default position, like the left one is on the 360, not down the bottom in the awkward tacked-on-as-an-afterthought position like they are on the ds3.
Personally I think this looks better than the current best controller on the market -the 360 controller. Basically the same, but the right analog...
Unlimited streaming games for a subscription to plus would definitely make me join, if it weren't for one thing - I live in Australia. Onlive and gaikai don't even exist in Australia.
If they get it up and running and sort out deals with our ISPs like onlive did in America, I'd gladly hand over the AU$100 a year ps+ subscription fee. And before anyone says "liar ps+ is only $40" - like I said, here in Australia the RRP is $99.95 a year.
"and with no Xbox 360 (controller based) exclusive besides Halo 4 announced thus far"
Typical Sony fanboy article.
How am I gonna play forza horizon without a controller? What about gears of war judgement? Let's just pretend they dont exist so we can write a fanboy article lol.
I just have to laugh at the increasingly ridiculous lengths that Sony fanboys will go to discount 360 games. Now we're using "(controller base...
Again with no one actually reading the article lol
Yes we knew he was leaving - but as of June 1 he isn't LEAVING, he has LEFT the company. That's the news.
but theres already a "need for speed most wanted"....? what gives? run out of names? lol

- Microsoft does have 47% of the US gaming market share. Easily verified by the lifetime NPD figures. It absolutely KILLS the PS3 and wii in the US.
- you have a hard time believing, but that doesn't mean it's not true. You dont believe the US market share fact either, despite it being 100% true. Make of that what you will.
- 10-13 million? No. Just no. The 360 sold about 8 million in its first year, and the ps3 came out at the end of that 12 months. ...
"Unlike Microsoft and unlike Nintendo, Sony has yet to actually "fail" with a gaming console"
despite what you might think, the original xbox didnt fail. it did exactly what microsoft intended it to do - get them a foothold in the market.
it was NEVER even remotely expected to sell 50+ million consoles. it wasnt expected to beat the PS2. it was merely there as a foot in the door for microsoft, and it did that very well. it showed developer...
nope, its just the view you get of other players while youre waiting to respawn - note the players name (that has been blacked out) in the middle of the screen.
dont see why youre all so excited - for the last 12+ months all ive read on N4PS3G is that streaming games and services like OnLive and Gaikai are rubbish, laggy, and will never take off.
now all of a sudden sony are rumoured to partner/buy one of them, and its all "praise streaming games, its the way of the future!!!" lol. typical.
the ps3 "slim" really wasnt all that slim compared to the original - in 1 dimension it was noticeably "fatter". that and it looks like a cheap fisher price kids toy.
I was never a huge fan of the PS3s design, too big and weird shaped, but the slim is just horrible.
i dont think theyll redesign it again, would be pointless.
or in other words, 100 PS3 games that wouldve looked/performed better if they didnt have 3D.
lol
do you people not read the article?
Bungie are basically saying "Valve/Epic/Gearbox cannot be contracted by activision to port our game to other consoles, but any developer owned by activision can port it".
" expressly disapproves of Valve, Epic and Gearbox as potential third party developers for Conversions (unless such third party developer should become an Activision
majority or wholly-owned studio), and Licensor...

lets take a look....
of those, these are coming out this year:

to be fair, it doesnt take a genius to figure this out. its just a remote desktop, people have been doing it on ipads since the day they came out.
if its anything like Uncharted, it wont change games forever.
for as much praise as they get, the uncharted games did nothing new. they just did things in a slicker way than most games of the genre.
to even suggest that this will "change games forever" is ridiculous, especially when we're yet to even see a second of gameplay.
"Expected, Sony is going through a company wide reconstruction."
Lol no - you've got it the wrong way around. They're going through the restructure BECAUSE OF their plummeting stock prices.
