lol this is 3D in the way that Kinect does 3D imaging for motion tracking in 3 dimensions, not 3D output from your tv.

to those below going on about 1:1 tracking - Kinect can already do this, and it already does in a large percentage of its games. Move is no better at 1:1 tracking than kinect. they both use a camera so they both have inherent lag in their setup.

they chose Gaikai because OnLive wasnt for sale, and they couldnt afford it even if it was.
Gaikai was for sale and wanted $500mil+. they sold for $380mil, which shows that they werent in a very good position, and sony took advantage of that (and i dont mean that in a bad light for sony, its good business).

despite all the love FFVII gets, i personally couldnt stand the game. read cutscenes/dialogue for 25 mins, run for a few mins, read another 20 mins of dialogue, then turn based combat. not my cup of tea at all.
nostalgia gets the better of lots of people in regards to FFVII especially.
