Doesn't matter to me, since I don't really play JRPG. I won't be buying it....
Now happy!!!
That is practically not financially possible. Each product they make must bring in some profit to fund the next project....
... and yes, the $20-70 they charge for each installment is worth it relative to other games sold.
It's as if you are complaining they are making sequels, in which case we would have significantly smaller titles to select from.
No, it is not MS as it is the industry as a whole. Nintendo almost never relied on third party exclusives and Sony with the PS1 was really the first. Sega have huge library of IPs.
The only way you are getting exclusivity with third party is timed as it isn't practical otherwise. Basically you would end up funding the development of the game, so why not do it yourself?
Maybe Sony has a timed exclusivity deal on this game since MS has in the past indicated that this g...
At this point, I suspect IF it will release on the PS3 it will come as one trilogy... However, that doesn't seem to maximize their profits though and we know EA likes $$$.
....
True about the importance of E3, but the Halo: Reach beta is this spring i.e. prior to E3....
So my guess is Reach will be further revealed at X10 or GDC.
There are so many good games on both PS3 and Xbox 360 that any serious gamer should really treat themselves to both and... maybe even the Wii.
It has some decent games, but none of them feel as immersive as the sub-HD consoles.
I would love to see some Natal games in action.
Even worse, this generation the supposed graphically superior AAA exclusives aren't really driving the sales. I guess graphics isn't as important as gameplay!!!
Doesn't change a thing!
Clearly people don't mind the 3-4 discs that rarely happens on the 360 and same way, the 20 minutes installs that occasionally happens on the PS3.
I just don't see people complaining about FFVII or FFVIII that both had multiple discs. In fact, plenty of PS2 and Xbox original games came on multiple discs. Why is it all of a sudden an issue now?
In fact, hard drive installation is a new thing this console generation so if anything r...
"Kind of funny those who wait 20 min to insatall a game are the ones complaining about taking 10 seconds to change a disk. " -cold 2000
LOL!!!
"I didn't see anyone complaining when TIME called Mass Effect 2:
"THE AVATAR OF VIDEOGAMES!" "-greywulf
That is because, that is a compliment. Comparing yourself to a different medium and saying it is ALMOST as good is putting yourself down.
Imagine a movie claiming it is almost as good as the book! I don't think this is necessarily a hate towards Sony as many on this site believes. I think it just happens to be the title being relea...
I like Google products and even considering a Nexus One with Android. Yup, even considering dropping $500+ on it for an unlocked one since I'm on ATT.
I personally hate Apple due to the elitist and trendy attitude, but respect them for their products quality and finish. With that said, I'm even more concerned about Google. They have shown time and time again, they don't respect users privacy and they are good at search! What a dangerous combination.
Even worse, and p...

I agree with you for the most part, except for maybe Bad Company (didn't like the demo) and Fable 2 (haven't tried it, probably not my genre).
I would add Gears of War 2 and Halo 3: ODST.
Natal so far looks very different than the wii motion control not to mention it makes the wii motion control look last generation.
I think Natal will succeed based on what they have shown. Maybe not on the same scale as Nintendo, but if you look at everyone that has tried it their excitement says it all!
"Seriously, I find it sad that MS can ONLY stay ahead if they're cheaper than anyone else and even then they still get outsold WorldWide." -saaking
"Other than Halo and being cheaper, nothing else is going on for Xbox 360. " -baum
Clearly, since the 360 sold on par with PS3 even after the PS3 dropped it's biggest bomb by having a redesign, massive AAA exclusives (all year) and fat $100 price cut on 360 driest year!
So I guess whatever...
It is definitely a risk, but the real story is that Sony needed a game to show in E3 in 2006 for the PS3. They just stuck by it since then....
Taking risks are good as long as it is calculated and the odds seem good. With that said, I have no clue on this game. I have not been following it.

End of discussion!!!
Not only that, but it will probably get worse for Tecmo now that Itagaki is gone.
He was the single shining star in the company that made Tecmo any good games. Hayashi on the other hand as far as I know hasn't made any games from scratch yet so it remains to be seen....
Can't believe for only a $100-200k they would let Itagaki go. That is fairly easily earned yearly by a good game designer let alone a veteran like Itagaki whom made DoA and rebooted NG series.
