There is so much screwed up things in politics nobody knows the truth. It bottles down to who is better at spinning a story, lying through their teeth and accusing others. May the best man rule the US!!!
We are in for some good times....
It is hard for me to believe that thousands of fanboys would rate a game badly just to artificially lower the score. I file this as a speculation, even with the comment from the founder.
Idiots are abound and there are fanboys on both camps. I hardly believe that one camp is worse than the other....
Nothing to see here, go enjoy your games!
I have no problem with violence in games. In fact I tend to enjoy the more violent games, such as Gears of War and Ninja Gaiden 2. Different strokes for different people. Violence in video games already get a bad rep, let's not stir it up more.
What people should be focusing on is things that actually have a higher risk of causing issues, such as teen drunk driving. Far more people get killed by drunk drivers (including teens) than videogames has hurt anyone.
Fu...
I know plenty of people that has done just that. They bought a PS3 to watch Blu-Ray movies. If you are out to get a hi-def experience at the moment you are likely to be a entertainment buff that does your research before buying.
Who in their right mind buys an Olevia Blu-Ray player? You are going for HD with high quality and buy a crappy Olevia player....
LOL... I was just thinking the same.
I'm re-hasing my original message, for some reason it didn't show up:
That proves my point!
When MS does something wrong, everybody throws up their arms. When Apple does something like this, it get's ignored and applauded for making great products. MS gave a away free stuff then got sued. Apple is barring other MP3 makers from making their product and to compete to push prices down. Who is doing the most damage to the consumers?
If the accusations ...
To me so far, Sony is selling on brand name alone (many will disagree with me on this one, but MS has brought a lot to the table this time around). The only real killer game I have seen so for from Sony is MGS4. Most of the other games are still "in the future".
I think both systems have great games and personally I play my 360 the most. Not because I necessarily favor one over the other, but so far Sony has only two games I enjoy: MGS4 and Ninja Gaiden Sigma (but hey...
There you have it. Proof that Nintendo did not invent the Avatar system....
Yet, I see the number of MS bashing in the first 10 posts. Amazing. I think that if MS released the Xbox on a different brand (and that it wasn't necessary tied to MS branding) that it would be more successful. There are too many people hating MS for some reason.
I wonder if the masses (i.e. the casuals) will eventually get sick of video games. In some ways I hope so, because this focus on casual gaming is taking away resources towards "real" games....
That is fine and dandy, but why does someone elses belief system have to be imposed on me. It is a free country and what if I wanted in there?
It is not the fact that I'm inconsiderate of others, it is others inconsiderate of me. It might sound selfish, but there are two sides to every coin. I consider yours, you consider me....
First he complains about the lack of hard drive, then he complains about the lack of downloadable games. Do anyone see a link here?
Maybe he is an idiot and should have done his research. The 360 Arcade is intended to compete with the PS2 and Wii... NOT the PS3. Duh!
Thank you!!! Why does the minority always screw up for the majority. You make the majority suffer due to the minority. It makes no sense.
Granted this is a video game, but this is true in general for almost anything....
It is sometimes hard to estimate demand, but this game is a freakin online only game. The problems have surfaced during beta testing as well, so it seems like Sony dropped the ball on this one.
An online only game shouldn't have this many problems, because everyone that buys the game goes online. Duh!!!
I don't know if I want Home or not, since I still don't really know what is about. The excitement factor certainly has gone down due to the long wait.... but, hey it is FREE. Question is should Sony have been working on something else?
unimpressed! MS is coming out with a revamp of the entire interface. Sony still lagging behind on many features the Xbox 360 has and now this.... adding a few small features and renaming stuff.
Why is it that every freaken game on the PS3 requires an 5GB install? Is it such an inferior technolgoy that textures can't be streamed fast enough? Extra space, but slower streaming seems almost a step backwards.
I can at max have 8 games immediately playable. What bullshit is that?
In my opinion, at least on the 360 I can play any game immediately. NO bullshit installation. Guess what, my 360 also cost less!!!
Some other fanboy will disagree, but...
Shouldn't they announce this a little in advance than tomorrow we will do an update... see ya!
Also, couldn't they announce this in a more visible manner...
Am I missing something here? On the other hand, maybe they are just frantically trying to get things ready to compete with MS on November 19th? This doesn't seem like a usual way of doing things. Give us Home on 11/19 if not sooner!
Who cares about a Blu-Ray player for the 360? If I wanted blu-ray, I would buy a PS3 (which I did) or a standalone player. I don't really need it for gaming, so why add another over priced accessory.
Are you guys freaken serious? None of the companies here make games to do you a fanservice. They make games to make a profit. The games follow where the profit goes?
Who knows, next thing we know SE changed their mind and now produces games for the Wii exclusively since it is the dominating console right now.
I'm kind of suprised people endorse pirated software with all the disagrees with you.
I think MS has every right, but if it is smart is another thing. The Chinese market is very different and piracy is rampant over there. My guess is from what I have seen in asian countries (other than Japan) is that pirated software and entertainment media is sold as if it is genuine. Meaning, you can walk in to most stores and you will find pirated stuff for sale openly.
