I'm a hardcore gamer and looking forward to Natal. Sure I don't like the Wii, but it isn't because it has motion control. It is because the implementation of motion control is poor and almost all Wii games only cater to casuals.
On the other hand, I'm not sure why I bother responding to you. A quick look at your comment history reveals that in every natal article you troll!
As if that is gonna change anything other than annoy others users here. I'm going to save mys...
This technology is very much in it's infancy and there will be glitches/issues since it isn't perfect, but it really is a huge leap forward in terms of tracking accuracy in 3D space under any lighting condition.
If you watch the Late Night Show with Jimmy Fallon, you really witness the excitement and to some degree a positive surprise of the participant. This will open up a new way go game, but not necessarily replace, but maybe add to how you currently game right now.
PlayON is a good workaround, but requires your PC to be on and might for some have a complicated setup. Furthermore, when Netflix decides to upgrade or change their service, will PlayOn work then?
It is a good alternative, but not a replacement. On the other hand, I didn't see too much good stuff on netflix streaming anyhow. Anyone care to point out anything good?
The fact that you have more accounts than PS3s sold is telling. Sony adopted the approach of:
- allowing signup online without a PS3
- merging their website accounts with PSN
- PSP, PS3 and PC are all included in that figure
- early in the PS3's life (before Trophies were released) there where less likely to stick to one username due to no investment
- I believe Sony releases members, not active members (although that is loosely if at all defined)
- ...
Isn't this unusual for MS to release on twice in a week? I though MS only releases stuff once a week or so....
I would rather have both languages, but better Japanese only as opposed to English only. Now they just have to price it right....
In some ways, Pacther is giving Sony another stab again by suggesting that Sony is trying to make up lost money with the PSP Go due to heavy losses of the PS3....
slowly ending is definitely the better way to end the fad....
Shigeru Miyamoto response to Natal:
"I[author of article] know what he[Shigeru Miyamoto] thinks about Natal because I asked him directly when he came out of the demo. He said he liked it, nodding enthusiastically when I asked him if it was "good". So that's a world exclusive right there, I'm pretty sure."
I'm excited....! Now if we could get Shigeru Miyamoto to create something for Natal that would be awesome.
I don't know about the PS3 (since the power is internal and I never had a need to look for it), but my Xbox 360 (Falcon) the power brick is rated at 175W. The newer consoles are rated at 150W so yeah, those numbers are definitely old.
I agree with Kaz (because I don't play party games), but people seem to have forgotten when the PS3 was confusingly billed as the next super computer home movie entertainment system by Sony themselves.
Nobody b!tches about a rehashed differently numbered sports game, so why complain about L4D2?
There are plenty of games that get the same treatment just worse. See CoD series, Guiter Hero, Rock Band and most sports games. This is a case of spoiled customers. Heck they even got a FREE DLC not too long ago! Let me repeat that, FREE FREE FREE! There aren't too many games that get free stuff (especially on the 360).
Heck, they are even lucky Valve is willing and promised...
if you look closely, that looks like a template page with no additional information. MS probably uses some kind of CMS system to manage their stuff.
Mistake, likely since they removed it so quickly otherwise why not leave it up for another half a day!
I wasn't interrested in Alan Wake before, but after seeing the trailer and the narration I'm expecting it to be as good as (if not better than) Bioshock in terms of storytelling!
I looking forward to it.
I think MS strategy is to only release information on games far enough into development that a release is within 6-12 months if not sooner. All their recent announcement seems to go that way.
Most of those people are probably PC owners. We get a new CoD, Madden and a host of other games every year with not complaints, so what is up with the complaints?
I understand Valve supports their games longer, but still.... To be fair, Valve sold 3 million copies so 25k is a drop in the bucket.
Cool... too bad I don't have cable.
So is it confirmed that Natal will come this Spring (according to that news article)?
Did you guys see the video on ABC's Good Morning America? http://abcnews.go.com/video...
It glitched more than I expected. Hopefully it will be more accurate for the final release.
One can say, all shooters are a clone of the first shooter (whatever that is)....
Unless the mechanics of a game is significantly similar, I would say a game is at best inspired by another game. You have cover system in Uncharted, but it doesn't make Uncharted a GeoW clone obviously. How you play the game is completely different since the game mechanics are completely different.
Tecmo actually has a history of making clones that dates back to the pre-NES era.
Games will be of the same genre, but it is clear that Quantum is borrowing heavily from GeoW. As far as what I have seen, Tecmo has not shown me anything that distance itself from GeoW. On the other hand, who cares if it is a clone as long as it is good!
So is FZ3 confirmed to be 720p native? It would be sweet at 60fps!
