I'm not a user of Home and frankly could care less, but this is exactly what I'm talking about with Sony.
Sony takes the opposite approach of MS and basically patches in features after the fact. That is why we had no Trophy support, in game voice chat and the list goes on....
Some features are now included, but should have been from day 1. Xbox 360 had this for almost a year before the PS3 was released. This also causes there to be no consistency and with this attitu...
... and to add what you just said. MS saw the talent that their competitors didn't see so they made a wise choice to purchase a franchise that today is iconic.
I don't think this is pure Sony bashing, but rather Sony focused due to its history as the dominant console maker it gets scrutinized more and people focus on how badly it does now compared to past.

no first day purchase for me. There aren't too many games that I do 1st day purchase unless there is a limited edition that I really wanted. Alas, I paid full price for GeoW2 LE at BB, got a tank, sweather and gold hammerburst.
I haven't yet played the first uncharted and holding out for a good sale less than $20 so the second one isn't that big of deal.
I support developers by not pirating their stuff.

Second, aren't banns temporary until you are a repeat offender? Sony I believe wants their customers to stay tp profit from, so he must have done something serious?
Piracy is a problem, but ask MS if Halo 3 or Epic about Gears of War suffered significantly from piracy. Point being, great games tend to sell well creating massive profits.
Piracy exists on the 360, but games still sell like the bucket load. My point being, the only time you should be concerned about piracy is when you make a poor product or a niche game i.e. when every sales matter.

There weren't too many high profile exclusives released for the 360. However, I must say I'm impressed with Halo Wars. It apparently outsold KZ2, which in my opinion should have sold considerably more since it has virtually no competition at release and was hyped to oblivion and not to mention in a genre that vastly bigger customer base. This was the 'it' shooter for the PS3. Heck I bought it on release day!

I like the fact that the exclusives pre-order bonus is unlockable for us other bargain hunters (i.e. no pre-order for me), but it bothers me that they get an advantage.
Doesn't really affect me, but I will wait until this game hits the bargain bin or has a severe price drop like most other games I buy.
Kind of long article, but I don't like online achievements/trophies, because you rely too much on others. For instance, when a game first comes out you are more likely to get multiplayer achievements, but as time goes on people get better skilled (and the "not" so skilled gamer tend to move on to something else new) making it even more difficulty for new gamers to achieve those achievements/trophies.
I like how CoD4 did theirs, no multiplayer achievements but compens...
From what I can tell, KZ2 sold poorly relative to the amount of hype it received for so many years. However, it didn't sell poorly judging by sales alone and did better than Resistance 2 during the holidays.
It is one of Sony's better sold games....

Are you freaken serious, MvC2 at 1200 points is a steal and I'm expecting Shadow Complex to be great game at the price! In fact, most DLC games (not game-addon) is a bargain!
Considering current inflation since 2005, the price increase isn't high at all of just a 100 point increase. If you are going to complain then let's compare two measly maps for $6 for KZ2 or Halo 3 with 4 measly maps for $10. What about SF IV outfits?
