Did you actually read an article about the so called Skype controversy?
@Pandamobile it's funny because I thought the same thing, and I guess I'm used to Xbox because the system auto updates whether or not you have Xbox Live Gold. If MS can do it for free, surely Sony also can.
I have a feeling that as people buy the devices and people have Kinects that don't work but still want to play they will receive tons of complaints and that at some point they will disable the requirement with a software update. It's foolish for them to expect it will always be there, especially when you can disconnect it physically from the Xbox One on the back. I think the complaining customers will cause them to change course on this one to be honest, although as it stands it is ...
What's funny is all of these people hating on Xbox One but yet it's the #1 wished for item on Amazon in the video games section. PS4 is #4.
I've seen a lot of rumors but I have never seen that one.
Yeah.. I think the method they developed is pretty cool techwise but I'm not sure how much I would actually use it. I don't have a typical setup though, I have multiple monitors together and usually when I play a game. Buttons will always be faster than voice commands in any case.
It's cool to have social overlay on regular TV but I'm not really into that. I'll still likely buy an Xbox One but I likely won't be using any of those features.
Just had to throw that Israeli comment in there huh. Are you a conspiracy whack job that's afraid of Jews?
Does there really need to be multiple articles about the same thing all hitting the front page at the same time? I guess there must be a web page hit quota that needs to be met by some desperate people..
Right.. their new console doesn't play games at all, right?
This will probably get disagreed with but the truth is they've said you can disable all of those so called 'spying' features in software. So there's much ado about nothing. They're giving you something that makes life more convenient but people are going to assume the worst every time.
My guess is that the sticks can rotate for some reason. My reason for thinking this is that they have that new tread around the top of the stick which if you look from the side is reminiscent of the wheel on a wheel mouse. So maybe you can turn them like dials/knobs
fact checking. do some.
From what I understand, much of the Forza footage was in-game footage and not a pre rendered trailer. I'm sure we'll see much more at E3, they have to or they're screwed.
At the reveal the Halo portion was for a TV series for Halo. That might be what is being shown here, not a game but the TV series.
more mature dev environment than visual studio? I doubt it.
I still don't know where this is coming from. Where did anyone officially say that the X1 will not work at all if Kinect is not plugged in?
Ubisoft did say at the time that their 'PS4' watchdog demo was running on a PC and not the PS4. So he is right about that point. Also, the Square demo for PS4 was most certainly pre rendered CGI crap. How soon we forget eh.
You do realize from a hardware perspective there's almost no difference between the two systems right? We've had technical docs on the X1's internals for months now. You make it sound like PS4 is going to have a huge technical advantage, which is completely untrue. They have a slightly different design approach but are essentially the same hardware. I know you don't want to hear that because you have some emotional investment in PS4 for some weird reason, but be pragmatic ...
My girlfriend plays candy crush on her phone and dragon's dogma on her 360. Please explain which of the two categories she fits into.
Playing through the 360 version of the last hope right now and am enjoying it. Graphics are a bit dated on it but I would love to see a next gen sequel. Would def. buy it.
