I really don't like the labeling of 'hardcore' or 'core' vs 'casual'. It's really just a matter of preference as to which games a person plays. Any gamer is free to play games that are typically associated with either category. I just really think this type of labelling is not worth the effort. I'm just curious where the information is coming from on the name 'Infinity'. People have been musing about it for months now so it's fairly easy to dismiss it as a rumour unless someone knows of a reliable source?

My girlfriend's favourite game used to be Fable 3. Lately she's hooked on Dragon's Dogma. I asked her why she likes Dragon's Dogma so much. She said it's because you get to 'smash all of the monsters to death'. I don't think it's just males having the power fantasies :) Also we are grown adults and not teenagers.

That is one thing that is so annoying about Xbox.. man I really wish I didn't have to swap multiple discs for almost every game. At least when I get the new xbox that situation will be resolved.
So PS3 is now going to see what XBLA has been all about the last few years. There's a game on XBLA where the entire game is to stop a cat from drinking your cereal milk.
Same problem here, ebgames (gamestop) but also futureshop (best buy). Hopefully they get it in today. I had heard that some people were able to buy it but I don't know where they actually bought it from, I imagine a different store.

This article is foolish. It takes a situation where one local tv station runs a story on basically 'omg girls are gamers too' and extrapolates it to the entire world and gaming industry. I wouldn't even bother reading it if I were you, it's crap.

I paid full price for the original and was quite disappointed. I loved the previous two games. The way to make it up to those who paid for the original is not by releasing a new version and trying to get us to pay a second time for the same thing. No sale.
I agree with you. It's just sad that a lot of people that see themselves as 'playstation or die' fans feel the need to crap on all of the competition. There's plenty of room for all of them and it really is possible to be happy about PS4 and also be excited to find out what the new xbox is all about.
