I just don't think it's practical while playing a game to stop and look at your hands/arms for information. It's an interesting idea though. Maybe they'll think of a good way to use it but it just seems that it would be more of a distraction than anything.
looks fake
So basically they've been given a nice contract that will keep them exclusive - they pay for everything and let QD work on their own schedule. This is no different than when MS or anyone else does it cept for some reason when Sony does it it's wonderful and when anyone else (MS) does it it's enslavement, right N4G?
Can you imagine Sony using that as a reason to buy the PS4 - But it has a mood light in it!!
lol...
All the little kiddies will be putting a sticker over it to help hide the fact that they're up late playing when mom says they should be in bed lol
This is great. I was wondering when they'd do this. Xbox has had this for years.
luls..
You know what one of the complaints developers had this gen with xbox? That they had to build their game in a special way because the game may or may not be installed on the hard drive.
So MS allegedly fixes this by requiring install and everyone claims oh noes we're going to lose used games.
Just like how MS is adding features so that your system works online while it's 'off' to make your experience better, but everyo...
I believe it's coming to 360 but I don't know for sure if it will be XBLA only, probably digital and physical distribution.
there's so much bullshit in the article and in the comments.
1) always on - completely misinterpreted. not mandatory.
2) no optical drive - complete bullshit and you know it.
3) we don't know if they will block used games or not, there's no evidence of it either way. Wait for official word before jumping to conclusions.
Nobody said they didn't sell. The original quote was that games with the main character being male sell much better than when the main character is female. They still sell, just not as much. But why use intelligence when you can just spout off like a bunch of retards frothing at the mouth based on an inaccurate title?
so the wii u is having a hard time selling and I guess this is supposed to be the answer? :) lol
The only diff I can think of is that wii was not 1080p and wii u is, but for something like this I can't imagine it making much if any difference.
So many people are taking this out of context. Basically they're talking about how the console will operate when it's 'off'. It technically won't be off. It will be in a special standby mode that is able to give you an 'instant on' type of experience as well as auto downloading game updates while you don't have the system turned on fully. Basically, on current 360, when you start a game it checks for an update, well this would do all that for you while you&...
How come no Exciting Hour? Sure it was arcade but still..
lol give me a break OP.
That is a more recent development that I too am not crazy about. However it really depends how it is implemented. If you can go 2 years or more without absolutely having to upgrade then it's not a huge deal I guess. In some ways I don't know what to expect and in other ways I do know exactly what I'm getting. It doesn't officially launch until end of June anyway, though I get mine at the end of April. If anything else I can use it as a networked media player to get movies...
it comes with XBMC built in - media player - check. Also nothing stopping you from using it as a PC.
The specs don't compare at all.
They are also on mobiles and tablets with the TEGRA chipset.
Please remove your political agendas from my gaming.
