Sorry to those that are offended but Izzy408 is correct. The higher the intelligence level of a populace the less likely they will believe in any religion. There are many studies showing that religion is decreasing around the world as people shake off their superstitious beliefs in favour of science.

There's no reason for MS to make something like this. They sell tablets running windows 8. why make something that your own company would compete against.
I imagine it's because they are making up for a lot of the difference with smart software, but software is really not as interesting to the average user of a game console in that sense.

It's silly because 'standby' is being taken out of context here. When they say standby they mean the system is still on, communicating to Xbox Live and downloading updates etc. it's a special low power mode that their hardware can do. PS4 doesn't have this ability, but they are taking a different route with the more powerful hardware, while MS has less powerful hardware but extra features with lower power modes.

Basically what the article is getting at is that 'App' partition of resources could be used by a game to run some stuff that are like an app such as social features, perhaps uplay, etc. It's a way of taking something that would normally be using up the 'Game' partition and putting it in the 'App' partition to give even more space to the game itself.
