As if Microsoft isn't always thinking about video games on PC. Video games are a lot of the reason their OS is so popular. This is why they keep the R&D on DirectX good and healthy.

I like how there's all these articles that need to shout from the mountaintop of why a person chose a certain game console. It's almost like if there was a post titled why I became a Mormon. Should change the title to why I became a tool (for page hits).

You get to really see the size of it in comparison to other consoles and gear. It's really not much diff in size to the 360.
I don't think it has anything to do with Sony but I agree with you. Customers wanted a certain thing, and they showed up with a different model. I don't know if it was a better or worse model to be honest, but the company itself screwed up in how they presented it in any case. They had no answers to a lot of the questions and were unprepared. Heads did roll at the company over it, people lost their jobs and management got reshuffled.
Whoever wrote that line is an idiot. Rewriting software costs money. Packing in a headset costs money. All of the man hours involved in changing all of these things costs money. Hell the time spent alone in having representatives of the company talk about all the changes when they could be doing other things is likely quite expensive.
So the Kinect they are using for this is just software too huh. And what does it matter? It's still something they're trying to make into something cool. More important than anything you've ever done in life.
Why would anyone go online and say anything hurtful to anyone? Because they can. Some people just want to hurt other people. You can't talk sense into them. You won't change them.
The problem is that you ban an account, the person comes back next time with a new account. There are people that buy a month on xbox live at a time because they know they will likely get banned at some point and they'll just make a new account.
It's not going to stop unless they start banning at the console level.
He's not saying that at all. He's saying that if some guy starts telling you he's going to rape you until you bleed or whatever and you're a man, then it's not a priority. But if you're a woman and a similar situation, then it's ZOMG lets ban the account immediately.
Both situations should be treated equally. He's asking for equal treatment. not about him at all.
I agree with you. She wanted his account banned so bad she kept checking it to see if it was banned yet. When it wasn't, she took up a social media crusade. She had no idea if the person had received some sort of warning from MS that if he did it again he'd be banned etc. She was out for revenge and thought her particular situation was higher priority than everyone else's issues sitting in the same queue.

They are, and so are Sony with the PS3. COD sells well on both systems.
Only on N4G could someone take the information that MS is reducing the amount of countries it hits at launch and extrapolate that into 'hardware failures'. They said themselves it's taking more time than expected to make the OS changes and localization for those regions across voice recognition and app support. So they delay the launch in those areas as the software isn't ready.
