@DL and Rezzah...um...Undeniable means that no one can deny it...yet there can be..and ARE those people that played it and didn't find it to be full of quality. Some have mentioned the recycled cars (lack of new cars). Some don't like the mixture of arcade and sim in the racing. Some have gone so far as to say the graphics are too bright and shiny to look real. So, yes there ARE people who don't find the quality of this title undeniable. Not trying to be a douche, but creating coh...

You are also forgetting that Konami and especially the Winning Eleven franchise has been around in Japan for ever! Maybe it's a bias for a Japanese company. But, I like to think of it as the reverse of what EA does in the US and Europe. People tend to "trust" that FIFA will have a certain level of quality because they have relied on it in the past. Most people aren't willing to take the risk.
I'm willing to believe that this idea probably extends to the Xbox and ...

If you haven't taken the leap, and I am assuming that you actually LIKE sports video games, then this game is a must. This is basketball, simulation style, at it's finest. The BEST thing about the game is simply to watch the interactions as a team runs an offense. Players seem to move with a purpose and actually set up the plays. If a play goes wrong, for whatever reason, the players will still attempt to freestyle and get open. You'll see slashes to the key, post ups, re-post ups...

Not just Sony fans...but fans in general. In fact, dare I say that it's what makes one a fan!?!? There is plenty of room for 2 handhelds to co-exist in today's market...as long as tablets don't somehow kill sales (add in those Tegra phones on the horizon). I don't see that happening...but anything is possible.

@DaTruth...I would agree and disagree. I think technologically YES I would love to play games from this gen. However, creatively there were several gems from generations past that could teach a few classes on how to create a game that is as visually appealing as possible AND provide an experience that is rarely duplicated. SoTC and Ico are 2 examples of that.

I just hope that the Darkling still talks sh!t the whole time! They say some of the funniest stuff and help to break up the more serious parts of the game.

RIP=Rest In Pieces??? Seriously, EA will never be able to compete with Visual Concepts if they keep selling pieces of the experience. Just make a complete sports game for a change EA!!!

There will be a "hardcore" mode where you can remove this effect. This is just done, as usual, to bring the less hardcore into the experience of the Hitman franchise. I'm just glad that they didn't go full out action. I just wonder if the open scenario feel will still remain. I used to dream up ways to complete Hitman levels...Invariably they would work.

You have to know that they had to compress the hell out of the data just to get this experience into a beta that would have reasonable download times. Plus, DICE has been great with working tweaking their games after release. I had and have complete faith that this game will be great no matter the platform.

Sure it's probably a reaction to the negative press that Operation Metro has gotten. Those that KNOW the game Battlefield have to know that this is not at all representative of the full game. (or at least they should) Those that don't will get a taste of the open map, vehicle driven war that Battlefield truly is.

This might be the truest comment I have seen. This is the reason that Playstation is still a force in the industry. The vast choices that are offered by Sony, in terms of genre and games, give something for everybody. It reminds me of Nintendo and their "mascots", which is also the reason that they are still pumping out games. Kudos to MS for getting Halo and Gears to carry the load as well.

FIFA is the best selling sports title out there...most would assume that it is Madden because it get more publicity, but it is FIFA.

If you are a true fan of the NBA, or a fan of basketball, then it shouldn't really matter. The only thing that is missing, for now, are those rookies that probably won't have as much impact as you wish in their first year. This game is about the love of the NBA's past, as well as it's present. That should be enough to carry the game. IMO, the inclusion of Jordan drove last year's sales more than the current stars. Adding Magic, Bird, The Dream, Twin Towers, Wilt The Stilt,...

Clutch has more to do with those final shots at the end of a quarter than stepping up in complete games (at least in 2K). The Laker's problems had more to do with Pau not showing up than Kobe disappearing. He was a defensive liability and then didn't really put up his "usual" numbers on offense. Also, Miami really didn't play well as a team. However, they have 3 All-Stars to make up for it by individual performances (2 of which are probably top 15 in scoring in Wade and ...

The ratings, as always, are based on last year's season. My only issue is that when you look at Miami as a complete team there are some gaps that don't make them (IMO) #1 overall. Yes, they have the "big 3" (some would say part II). But, after that I believe that the bench is pretty limited in comparison to a Boston or the Mavs (who actually get back a serious starter that was injured for the playoff run).

I say that you add an O.G. category and bring back the real Old school. The soundtrack would be off da chain! (addendum...I'm sure that they could use those royalties as well} Slick Rick tha Ruler...with da nugget rings!?!? Oh...r&b beef with Oran "Juice" Jones and Montell Jordan...Juice could give that "Walkin In the Rain" speech after the beat down...silly rabbit..tricks is fo kids...LOL

I agree Jelly. People seem to romanticize the past and only see the good. Remember there was a very successful Vanilla Ice!?! Point being, there was some real crap released along with the Wu, Tribe, Pac, Biggie, etc. However, I WILL say that there is a lot of crap that gets radio play NOW that probably wouldn't have seen the 2 am sleepy time hour back then.

I would agree with you that Uncharted is a hell of a single player game. However, UC3's multiplayer is just really, really fun. This is coming from someone that really only played the co-op portion of UC2 online with friends. It plays very well in comparison to other online games. That being said, I will attempt to complete the sp portion before I'm bombarded by friends wanting to play the mp. All in all, I feel what you are saying...but I think ND deserves some credit for being creat...
