I haven't done it in a while so unsure if it has changed, but you used to be able to download any PS1 or PSP game to a PS3 and then transfer it to the Vita and it just worked - regardless of whether it showed as something you could buy in store for, or download directly to, the Vita. It opened up a huge library of back-compat titles that way.
Just to give you a heads up, FFXV has RTX support but, as far as I know, they haven't actually outlined that they will support ray tracing. They have said they will support Deep Learning Super Sampling, but that's the only thing that is confirmed as of right now I believe. Please correct me if I'm wrong, of course.
Wow, really? It left early access on Steam back in January, so their commitment to the XBOX version seems a bit lacking. Perhaps this expansion won't hit for XBOX until after it finally leaves early access. Hopefully that happens for you guys soon. Can't imagine what the hold up must be.
Given the demo they showed ran at 1080p 30fps on an i7-8700k and GTX 1080Ti, I really don't see how they can fit this on current gen consoles at all without making extreme compromises. That GPU is 11.3 tflops. The original PS4 is 1.84 tflops and original XBO is 1.3 tflops. We know Sony/MS don't allow Pro/X only software, so if CDPR support this gen of consoles they will have to support their original consoles as well.

So, it looked like a good game. I mean it didn't shatter my world, but it seems fun. And it looks solid visually for an open world. It's kinda funny how things work. I played FFVIII first and loved it. Time went on and I tried to go back and play VII since I had heard so much great stuff about it and, sadly, just couldn't get into it.
I've become too jaded as a gamer I think. I just don't believe any game that does a Battle Royale mode with any amount of actual effort put into it is purely a joke. I think, in this saturated market and general poor view of new BR games, if you say you are doing a Battle Royale you will get shrugged off or actively booed. Well, I guess the move to Gearbox and a $60 price tag did not ultimately help this game out. Or if it did, it pulled it up from mid 50s to mid 60s in the review-score-aggregate. That's a shame. It seemed like it had the potential to be something more.
The detail and quality that we saw in that trailer is, I agree, truly incredible. But they still didn't show me much in the way of true gameplay in that 6 minute video. I want to see more on how the game actually plays, so I'm reserving the hype until I see the next vid or two they release. Sounds like they'll be more in depth.
