I'm not surprised. Expectations are huge! Not to mention they are clearly inspired by some of the best games of this generation. They need to please both Star Wars fans and the gamers. They are also balancing on the fact that Star Wars games are either amazing or just plain awful.
I personally think it looks fantastic. My friend (a Star Wars fan) watched this and said "I don't want it because you can't use lightsabers". He is a very standard PS3 owner w...
We never get what we want. All we wanted was an amazing FF game this gen. They bring out FF13 which included gameplay elements we didn't want. They bring out a follow up that we clearly didn'y want. The fans (not me personally) want FF7, but they deny them, the one official game we want (FFVS13) is stuck in development hell and there is nothing else that the fans were left to constantly ask for. They only asked for FF7 ( which was never announced so I cant blame Square) and VS13 (whic...
Buy a Vita and get a library of over 100 PS1 games.
And people said the Vita has no games.
Gonna stick to physical as long as possible. I like to do whatever I want with MY purchase such as borrow to friends, sell on and give to relatives.
Yes, it has an Alan Wake vibe to it. I can still see the connection to TLOU, though.
On Smash Bros Melee the Termina map included the moon and it came closer as time progressed. It was quite cool. There was no interaction with the actual level, unfortunately.
A free 4 year old game is still a game for free :-)
I actually really want the Vita to succeed so when I decide to buy one I will have a nice handheld with an incredible line-up of games. Unfortunately I don't have the money to purchase one now, but there is only one game currently available that I desire to play...
The reason I prefer physical copies is because it feels like the game actually belongs to me. I can share it with friends easily or I could choose to sell the copy if I really wanted to. It allows me to also buy other peoples copies and borrow games off my friends with ease. I can also give my old stuff to my younger family members.
I share a lot of things with my friends... They may need a tool or may even want to borrow my ipod for a bus journey etc etc... Games should be n...
Well... it may not be fair to compare a single player experience to an online one, but the online of CoD has captivated me since CoD2.
Depth and Storytelling are not major factors to my gaming experience. Not to say I don't enjoy story driven games because I do, but games like Tetris exist and there is no story there to speak of.
My best Single Player FPS games are Metroid Prime (if you class it as an FPS) and Bioshock (which is story driven and amazing)...
CoD >>> Half Life
Not even lying... I am being genuine.
Just my opinion, but I love me some Call of Duty.
As much as it sucks there are 3 positives to be taken from this. 1. Additional Content... No brainer it is a winner. 2. PC users get the damn game... Its not the best of situations and it doesn't change the fact the port seems "lazy", but they are at least getting it. 3. Quite possibly the most important point is that it opens opportunities for more games in the Souls series to be released on the platform.
Its not ideal, but there can be some light made of the s...
Would have been nice to see it included. I don't know why this game gets so much hate. Sure the game wasn't intended to use the new gameplay mechanics and it made the game a tad too easy and sure the music and cut scenes are not as good as the original in my opinion, but it was a JOY to see MGS1 with them visuals. The game was still a lot of fun. It just wasn't as ground breaking as the first, but it didn't need to be.
After Code Veronica? Man, I enjoyed Resident Evil 4, 5 was okay, but I understand why fans will dismiss it and the Resident Evil game for the 3DS seems to be a great experience from what I have played.
I agree with what you're saying about Resident Evil 6. I am not in the slightest bit excited :-(
I want it to hold out as long as possible. I wouldn't mind seeing it next gen. However, I don't agree with the direction the game is heading in. If millions of people are enjoying it then there is no need for it to die.
I will give it a 2nd try, but I really didn't enjoy what I played. That being said I was really busy at the time and couldn't fully invest in it.
This game bored me, but I want to re-visit it for some reason. I may have hyped it up too much before playing it.
I would rather have the whole morality thing scrapped and be placed in a world that makes me care about my actions without being rewarded. For example I don't like killing innocent people / animals on Skyrim and if I see somebody getting beaten up on GTA I go over punch the bully. I don't think the Morality bar with rewards is needed... I just think the tools should be there to play how you want to play. A game where you feel like the bad guy or the good guy would be better than a gam...
I wouldn't mind not playing games online, but not being able to sign into PSN makes it unable for you to watch netflix :-(
Oh well. I will just watch LOTR on Thursday night.
I think PC gamers deserve a better port, but at least they got the game. Heck, the higher Res isn't the biggest deal in the world. Game still looks good and the gameplay is unmatched. A higher Res (when it is decent enough) shouldn't bump the score that much because the rest of the design from the console version (from which this game is ported) is spot on.
Congrats in getting the game you asked for. In an ideal world a bit more care would have gone into this game, b...
