MGS3 was a fantastic ending. It makes you feel every emotion and wraps the story up nicely.
Red Dead Redemption. Quite possibly one of the best endings I have ever seen. I started off hating the game... I put it on the shelf for a few years and came back to play it. I was hooked. An ending that fits the overall theme of the game.
I would also have included Portal2 on the list because of how amazingly amazing the ending is for that game (in it's own way) ...
So many people complain about the BKGA. Sure, it is annoying when you get steam rolled by it, but it is not impossible to beat.
I am a bit gutted that they nerfed the DWGR. All of my builds were made to hit the current requirements to flip with maximum poise.

It's not like a majority of games are using perk systems thanks to CoD4 or anything.
I tend to focus on the MP component of these Modern FPS games. A lot of people view that as a negative, but it's what I enjoy. I don't think anything will be better for me personally than Blops2. To be honest Treyarch make brilliant CoD games.
Anyway, this isn't about CoD so I will stop blathering on. I didn't check out the latest MoH and I don't really feel the need to check this one out either. I will watch the review and see what I think.
I agree that a new way to play does kind of justify calling a console "next gen". The thing with the Wii being classed as a "current gen" system and being placed in the same category as the PS3 is that the PS3 has the MOVE and more power under the hood.
Where does that leave Nintendo? I can control Resident Evil 5 on the PS3 with a wand controller. I can't do the same on the Wii.

I was close to neglecting the whole franchise after the first game, but I'm glad I borrowed AC:2 and Brotherhood off my friend. My problem is AC:R really disappointed me, but AC:3 has me hyped again.

My problem with the tattoo is that he has dedicated a whole arm to so many games. What is he going to do in a few generations time when there are a load more amazing franchises? Sure he could use his other arm, but his current tattoo will not be able to add in new releases.

Once upon a time I was really excited about CSGO. I really don't care anymore, but I am still interested to check every Wednesday just to see if it finally gets released. I hope it gets the Trine2 treatment when it does.
I don't think we will see significant technical jumps, but I do feel the system can squeeze out a better performance than what we have seen. The Last of Us looks set to do something special.

Reaching out to as many players as possible IS very important. Capcom was on to a winner with the multiple campaign modes. It could have pleased everyone. They could have had one campaign feel very much like the 3DS game and another campaign focusing on action whilst kind of having a horror theme (say like resi 5... similar feel to Resi4, but the backdrop was more action packed) that could be played Coop.

I can't believe they included a hookblade (seriously?), the tower defence was boring and to be honest the emphasis on crafting different bombs didn't appeal to me. What a mess!
