@FriedGoat: How much you are willing to spend on a game is your personal decision. I for one would rather pay 60 bucks for a single player only game then a multiplayer only game or a multiplayer focused game.

I agree. It's Ready at Dawn's first original IP on a big console and I think they should concentrate on delivering the best possible single player experience. When they pick up some experience and grow they might include MP in their upcoming games but for now I'm more than happy with a single player only game from them.
@Thatlalala: Sounds like you started with custom games. You definately should start with bot games to learn the basics. Then you should learn about the champions and items. When you can play 2-3 champions you can start playing pvp solo queue. The matchmaking will put you together with players of your own skill and experience level. You can't get kicked out of those modes.
Why would you buy one game on 5 different platforms? I get that you are a fan of the game but I still don't see why you would do that honestly.
I completely disagree that nothing comes close though. There were so many great games in 2013.
I can live with both but If I'd have to choose I'd prefer 1080p/30fps over 720p/60fps for most games.
Maybe yes - maybe no. Who knows. The expectations have grown in all the different directions over the last 10 years making it impossible to meet those expectations. If they change too much people will moan about it. If they leave it the same people will also moan about it. I just don't think that Valve needs to take such a risk right now.
I'm pretty sure a lot of people doubt another Half-Life? I'd say the chance of another Half-Life by Valve is almost non-existent.
I agree. It would've been a big mistake wif MS didn't secure it. It probably would've gone multiplatform otherwise.

Most multiplats are performing better on the PS4. I don't know why someone would be surprised by this. I don't think that the 18fps dip is relevant though. The overall framerate seem to be ok on the X1 version.
Yeah that was weird. Especially because there isn't much happening when it dips. I assume it may have been some background operation the X1 did. Overall the Xbox One performance is acceptable imo. If someone has both consoles I don't see a reason why someone shouldn't get the PS4 version though.

I don't understand why it's so hard to admit that the Xbox One isn't quite as powerful as the PS4. It's not like it's a weak console. You're getting great looking games and there are very promising titles like Quantum Break coming. By denying that the PS4 is more powerful you make the topic bigger than it should be because the discussions won't stop. Just enjoy your games and accept the truth.
The reason why you aren't getting a proper answer is that nobody knows for sure yet. They've shown a redesigned Lara, lighting that shines on individual raindrops, better explosions, and textures that are supposed to be 4 times the resolution. I'd wait a couple of days for the digital foundry analysis to be sure though.

I'll wait for a comparison between the PC version and the PS4 version. I think the PC version is as close as you get to the definitive edition without actually getting the definitive edition. I understand there is no point for someone who played the PC version maxed out to buy the definitive edition and that's probably why it isn't coming to PC.

It would take me about 15 hours to download but as long as you can download it in the background and pause it I wouldn't have too much of a problem with it.
I started when I was three years old and my dad let me choose the game I wanted to play first. I chose Shadow of the Beast 2 (the other one was Eternal Champion). Man I can't wait for the Shadow of the Beast reboot on PS4.
That's what I've been doing with the PS4 games (I don't own a PS4 yet). So when I'll pick up a PS4 I'll already own a bunch of games.
This is simply not true. You can unplug the Kinect and never plug it back in again so what's the point in paying for it. Tell me one single function that is essential to the Xbox One and can't be done without the Kinect.
