If you talked to everyone he's either by the house, or near the fishing spot on the by the river, can't remember which.
The next gen consoles will not be high end PCs, they will be today's mid range PCs, pretty much every developer we've heard talk about next gen consoles has said this. Plus, you are trying to use the "it's only a rumour" card to discredit their statements after stating as fact that 720/PS4 will be high end PC comparable with no evidence yourself to back it up.
And you DO realize that we can also buy physical copies of our PC games right? Guess what, we c...
After you talk to everyone you need to go talk to Dojima again.
Though you probably want to look up "P4 True End Guide" so you can see the real end.
So what's your point?
Being able to do you job well, even REALLY well, is still no excuse for misleading consumers for a quick profit.
Gearbox may not have developed it, but it also didn't mention that the footage advertised didn't match the final product. They didn't make the game, but they still published it, and kept their mouth shut about it because they cared more about getting sales from it than giving the consumers accurate information....
So is this guy this year's Casey Hudson?
@aCasualGamer
The gaming media is always quiet about this kind of stuff. They won't risk their relationship with a big publisher, otherwise they might not get advance copies of Borderlands 3 when it eventually comes out, and by god they need those hits.
Is this guy sick, or is his voice always that way?
I personally gotta disagree with Sylpheed. It wasn't bad, but it was a much more arcadey game than the flight sims of old like Tie Fighter/Wing Commander/FreeSpace etc...
It was a much more Japanese version of the space sim genre, and it lost a lost of the 'sim' parts. Not necessarily bad, but more of a space shooter than space sim. Unfortunately most attempts at space sims fall into this category (looking at you SOL:Exodus and Strike Suit Zero!).
Mordin's death I would've agreed with, that scene was probably the high point of the entire game.
Shepard's death was just stupid, not to mention it could be avoided if you war asset # was > X.
Let's look at his 3 original deaths:
1. Dies and takes control of the Reapers right after as scene of him telling TIM just how stupid the idea is. He literally forgot what he was saying 5 minutes after he said it.
2...
Gears of War? WTF are you kidding me!?!?
And let's be perfectly honest, when you think about GTA4 Niko's love interest wasn't really all that memorable. Did she really evan have a personality besides being the irish guy's sister?
Old consoles aren't the ones holding PC back, it's AAA publishers completely ignoring any PC game without a console port released on the same day.
In fact the consolization (for lack of a better word) is hindering many of the best games to get for PC. Skyrim and Far Cry 3 made the inventory system an incredible pain to use on PC because they just copied how it works on consoles...
LOL Nicole from Dead Space? Seriously? We never even met her! We were just talked at by her hallucination a few times in ways that made it obvious something was off, and mute Isaac sometimes shook his head.
This guy clearly doesn't understand how to develop a character and pretty much just picked people who died because "death is dramatic by default right?".
Edit: Scratch that, his personal display icon under the article is the MW3 logo. Compar...
I'd feel much less worried about it they said they at least had some basic storyboard plan from the beginning...
I loved The Walking Dead, but what I'm hoping for from it's sequel is a story as good as the first one's, not a sequel made simply because the first was successful.
Fallout 3 was good, I had a lot of fun with it, but there were obvious flaws, many of which were fixed, or at least improved upon in FO:NV.
I still have the tin can lunchbox from the special edition lying around here somewhere as well...
Except when technology vendors mark up the price for reasons they don't explain, and there aren't alternative vendors for the product you want, you're SOL, which is a pretty legitemate reason for people to be pissed.
Just because you don't buy the product doesn't mean things will change. I don't buy CoD but that doesn't stop it from outselling everything year after year, and more games trying to copy it as a result.
If these compan...
It's funny that people still take Kotaku seriously.
You act like Bethesda HAD to release console versions. They are their own publisher, if they wanted to take advantage of the PC they could've done it by just not going for cross platform.
Also, would you call a save game bug that was omnipresent in the PS3 version of Skyrim that rendered the game nigh unplaybable making sure we 'get a decent experience'? They even withheld PS3 review copies so the bug wouldn't affect day one sales.
Back on top...
It's definitely a great atmospheric shooter, hopefully Last Light will preserve the quality of the original.
How is Kotaku even still considered a 'news' site at this point?
Yeah but sadly it's only 3 acts long atm, still a great game though, looking at that MASSIVE skill tree still gives me a grin.
Really, I would've been more excited for a D2 port than D3, since that game still understood the importance of skill trees as opposed to giving you every spell/rune when you level up.
