No, a good way to make up for their mistake would be refunds for people that wanted them.

This is like walking into a hardware store to return a hammer because they built it out of rubber, and then being told "Well I can't refund you even though you have a receipt, but I CAN give you a screwdriver of your choice!"

He was saying that new shiny graphics make it so that you can now, because of the PS4's power, properly convey emotions through visuals and facial animations.

It's doubly hilarious as he's going "look at the emotion in the old man's eyes!" while the facial animations in his realistic looking old man are creepy as all hell compared with the stylized art and facial animations of The Walking Dead, a game that's low enough on resources that you can p...

GTA4 was a technical marvel, but for me it was fairly empty inside.

You had a greatly realized city, with a huge cast of characters all with top of the line voice acting, multiple radio and tv station, hundreds of vehicles, darts/bowling/etc minigames. If we're judging solely based on the amount of polish and content, then GTA4 knocked it out of the park.

But, the game actually discourages you from doing stuff that made GTA games fun since the main focus ...

I don't really give a crap either way about the GoW trophy, but I can't say I'm a fan of any author who uses a title like that as a hook for hits.

I get the idea, but in the end he's taking an actual sexist slur that's commonly heard online, and he's using it 'ironically' as an attention grabber.

Really I think sensationalism is a bigger problem in this industry than sexism, mostly because it's actively encouraged.

Seriously? Hologram displays are way beyond any commercial hardware available today or will have in the near future. Even cursory research in the area would make that obvious.

Games journalism now seems to be the equivalent of a few 18 year olds having a "dude, wouldn't it be awesome if..." conversation.

Yay, more speculative sales figures/projections!

I'm not looking forward to the next 2 years as I'm pretty sure all the PS3/360/Wii will be coming out of the woodwork to rage at each other based on the newest 'info' (i.e rumours).

I'd have to disagree.

Most SC missions were the standard build base/troops -> send at enemy, like a multiplayer match except the enemy starts with a huge base and doesn't attack as aggressively. There was also usually 1-2 'hold for reinforcements' missions and 1 infiltration mission per campaign. Starcraft 2 goes out of it's way to mix up the formula by designing mechanics often used only for a single mission.

In terms of story, Starcr...

Considering the whole plot of HotS takes place like 3 weeks after the events of the WoL campaign and there are a lot of characters who you'd never know if you didn't play WoL I'd highly recommend playing through the Terran campaign first.

ESPECIALLY if you haven't even played the original because there is next to no introduction to who the main characters are in HoTS and you'll be left going "Who is this Raynor guy? What is the Queen of Blades? Why is...

It's probably already got a leg up over GTA5 for me.

Rockstar will try to shove a story about how the main character is a sympathetic anti-hero in it's cutscenes, like how Niko complains about how it's hard to see good in the world after the 'horrors' he's seen.

Then when you walk outside you'll immediately steal a car and run over 13 pedestrians, then get out and shoot some people with shotguns while Niko yells insults and profani...

While I'd agree with you in terms of their Warcraft and Diablo franchises, I think they've done an admirable (if slow) job on the Starcraft series.

Great (OPTIONAL) online functionality, high production values, and more varied campaign missions than any other RTS campaign I can think of impressed me. I'm obviously biased as Starcraft was one of my childhood favorites (though the same could be said of D2), but unlike what they did to D3, the SC2 games feel like the...

Well they are giving people a free origin game.

So basically they won't give you your money back if the product is broken, but they will give you store credit that you can only use at the place which just shafted you.

That's just as good though right?
