Where's Stubbs the zombie? Where' The Stranger?
Epic just announced an exclusive Ipad game, so your theory fails right there.
Epic's main business is the unreal engine. They want as many PC indie devs on it as possible
DOA was always an awesome and interesting fighting game regardless of the boobs. Those were just the cherry topping...
... maybe I used the wrong word.
guacman88, what are you talking about? We have to disagree I guess...
Infamous 2 has all the open worldness of corridor game game and still manages to look half-generation behind these open world games.
The world looks bland, the models are low poly and the draw distance is one of the worst for an open world game. Not to mention the lack of AA really tarnished the image quality (which was pr
These actual shots from the game (no PR bullshots) for example shows ...
PM games are usually 1 hit 1 miss. The latest examples are Fable 2 which was pretty awesome VS Fable 3 which felt a bit like a shallow follow up.
I had to bubble you up for this. I don't know many people who still recall that awesome game.
He might not be the top villain, but he's obviously better than that crappy list of b rated cardboard villains in that site.
Not only that, but ME1 was very highly rated as well, with a Metacritic score of over 90, something the first Uncharted didn't manage to pull. Claiming it was "nothing to write home about" as the article does is quite ridiculous.
This is not newsworthy article. It's just a bunch of copy-pasted messaged from the neogaf forum. Why is it always crap sites like Gaming Everything that never bother to even write anything when they are posting stuff as news?
To save you the bother of clicking:
First, O’Connor confirmed native 720p for Halo 4. He mentioned that the team won’t be using any temporal anti-aliasing, though they will be implementing some standard AA.
O’Connor ...
If people are unhappy with the DLC they should simply vote with their wallets and refrain from buying the DLC.
But scoring a game you never played (and most of the user reviews are from people who never played it) is plain dumb and as effective as writing your review in the snow. Nobody even bothers to read user reviews in Metacritic except perhaps for the comic value anyway.
Until there is a better trust system for user reviews (for example, linking to people profile...
@Outside_ofthe_Box, I beg to differ
The three most beautiful open world games are probably Skyrim, Just Cause 2 and Red Dead Redemption (not in particular order). I haven't seen any Xbox 360, PS3 or PC exclusive open-world game surpass them.
Multiplatfrom games are usually accociated with bigger development budgets (since they know in advance that the userbase is bigger and expected sales are higher) and can therefore invest more money in both art and tech.
Gears of War 3 got the same score in Edge, so even according to your weird logic (comparing Gears and Mass Effect!? Really!?) it should be "a first-rate Gears of War".
They didn't say anything about macro-transactions ;)
Reach covered in jaggies and ran between 20-30 frames!? Are you for real?
The AA in reach was one of the best implementations this Gen and the game is pretty much jag-free. Can you point to screenshots showing otherwise?
It's also running on steady 30fps for most but the most intense combat scenarios - and even then it's pushing more stuff on screen than most of the games this gen.
Anyway, it makes sense not to use the engine for a multiplatform curren...
Dude, come on...
Crime rate might be down, but Brazil is still considered a very dangerous country in relative terms:

You probably cant judge Sao Paulo as a whole because it has bigger population then some countries, but the favelas are probably not the friendliest of places - and they were talking about the favelas after all.
@Nitrowolf2, they got it wrong then:
Mass Effect is an RPG with shooter elements. Borderlands is a shooter with RPG elements.
The difference mechanics-wise between these two is so vast that you can't even classify both games into the same category.
The only site from the list or reviews we've seen so far who's actually counted in Metacritic is the Official Playstation Mag. So pretty much any non 10/10 score from now on is going to negatively affect the Average....
Edit: this just in: 9/10 from the "brave" Eurogamer, already "ruining" the perfect Metacritic average score based on one whole OPM review.
Games I just purchased on Amazon Digital February sale:
Assassins Creed 2 - 5$
Red Faction Armageddon - 5$
PAYDAY The Heist - 5$
Total: 15$
3 Full games all from 2010-2011, for the same price as a DLC map pack for another 2011 game. Talk about bizarre pricing...
@hellerphant
Does it matter that they were included in a bundle? After all people who wanted the game are not going to buy another copy if they already got Alan Wake this way, and if they didn't want Alan Wake they would have just resold it to someone who's interested (unlike regular games you can't download it and then resell it).
And regardless of digital sales Alan Wake went on to sell over a million physical copies on the Xbox. And a couple of hundred ...
He's a troll account. The links are copy pasted from other (he also flooded me with PMs with the same repetitive text))
Developers managed to get it running fine on both PC and Xbox 360, so it's defo not developers fault.
This is getting pathetic. What's next? Wii owners claiming that Modern Warfare runs at 480p30 because of lazy development?
