I'm not going to say I didn't have fun with it (I did), but it just wasn't as fun as GTA3.
Yeah, because you never hear about sub-par PS3 ports on N4G. This whole site is filled with news about devs that don't bother to utilize the hardware and then trolls like you jump at the chance to say "I told you so". Here's a question: How many 360 exclusives are sub-HD? Okay, now compare that to PS3 exclusives. See what I did there?
No, it doesn't. Look at the screens from IGN. Low poly models and textures that don't even come close. I'd be willing to bet the lighting won't touch Uncharted either. And then there is the water, which doesn't look as good as most games out now. What does all this mean? Nothing, really. There's still every chance that this can be a great game, it just won't be as technically sound as Uncharted. Some people may even prefer the look of Enslaved, due to the art style...

Why isn't anyone making sure you stay under your bridge?
The only thing that worries me about this game is that it borrows so heavily from games that just came out. It's obvious that the combat is going to borrow from their previous game, but even that played a lot like GOW. And did that bridge segment remind anyone of the exact same scenario in UC2? Maybe I need to watch more videos, but the one I saw looked pretty derivative. I want to be excited for this, as I respect the devs, but so far it just isn't happening.

GT5 a port of GT4? You obviously know nothing about the game if you really think that. As for the 360 being the console to own, I disagree. My favorite franchises before this gen were GT, GOW, GTA, Team ICO games and MGS. This gen, you can add Uncharted, Killzone,Demon's Souls, Warhawk and inFamous, with Twisted Metal and Agent still to come. These are just the games I can think of at the moment. Yes! They already have the cinematic feel down, now they need to bring you into the world a little more. ND certainly have the talent to do it and the game looks amazing already. I'd really like them to expand on the co-op as well and add some more platforming, as well as the ability to do a little more exploring, which you just touched on.
Completely agree, ND is very respectful of other devs, as are IW, Bungie, Santa Monica, Sucker Punch and others who don't feel the need to act like Mark Rein or the guys at Turn 10.
I had a blast playing through U2 (all four times, in fact). I just hope that U3 pulls a Killzone and focuses on larger environments for the third installment, with multiple ways to solve problems. Some decent puzzles would be appreciated as well. I'm not talking Water Dungeon levels of complexity and frustration, but something similar to the GOW series.

That seems much more likely than a $100 price cut. I really don't think they need to bundle GT5 though. It seems like there are plenty of people who are planning on buying a PS3 just to get their hands on that game.
It'd be nice if they let you create your own character. Doubt it will happen though.
As a PS3 owner who loves games like Killzone 2, Uncharted 2 and GOW 3, I would gladly play the original Goldeneye for hours on end if you put it in front of me. So yeah, people are excited for an updated version of that game. Being able to play Goldeneye with a group friends again sounds like a lot of fun. Don't you remember playi-oh wait, with that kind of an attitude, you probably never had many friends, which means you have no idea what the rest of us are talking about.
Well, sales are important to publishers, which affects us as well. I agree that these articles are only meant to start arguments, however.

I bought a PS3 because my favorite game franchises are either made by a Sony 1st party studio, or will appear on their console as well as the others. I have absolutely nothing against people who chose to make a different purchase than myself. You sound like one of those guys that wants to get laid just so he can brag about it to his friends. Spend less time being spiteful and more time enjoying your hobbi...
