Assassin, I hope you're right, as I only own a PS3 (my computer can barely run DOOM), but if the PS3 version really was better, don't you think they'd be showing it? Crytek probably should have kept their mouths shut about making the best looking console game, especially with their release date now so near to Killzone 3.
Can anyone provide a link for this? As a PS3 owner, I'd like to know if this is true, 'cause so far, the console versions don't sound so hot. Either way, with K3 releasing in February, this was only ever going to be a rent.

I agree with you to an extent, but on the other hand it's good that stories like these get attention so rational people know which sites to avoid.
First of all, the 31st of January is on a Monday. Most games do not release on a Monday, let alone the Monday of one of the biggest drinking days of the year(which leads to a day where people are laying on the couch holding their heads, not playing games). I thought we learned a long time ago not to trust retailer release estimates? The fact that a site chose to run with this without doing simple fact checking doesn't speak well to their credibility.

True, Killzone 2 is my favorite shooter (alongside BC2), but the story was utter shit. I've played through Halo 2 and watched my old roommate play through 3 and ODST and I can safely say that the story is told in a much better fashion. I haven't played Resistance FOM, but I played the sequel and found the storytelling to be on par with Halo. Having said that, I think the tragedy of Reach could lead to an amazing story. Thank god my new roommates also have a 360 so I can at least rent ...
I don't get why people even do this. I have never owned an Xbox, but I have an enormous amount of respect for Bungie. To degrade their work by stealing it from them is shameful.
The Heavy Rain spoiler ruined my experience. It was the first time something like that had ever happened to me and I just couldn't get it out of my head.

That's saying a lot. The amount of PS3 exclusives coming out next year is ridiculous. Add multiplats on top of that, and there are almost too many games coming out.

The Killzone one actually wasn't that hard, just had to play a lot one week. They should include any one of the trophies for maxing out your weapons in Demon's Souls. I'm almost through New Game + and still don't have enough Sharpstone!

He also had trouble with GT4 though, which wasn't hard at all. Like I said, he probably shouldn't play sims. Not all games are made for all people, which is why different genres exist.
