@Sonic1881 not a new direction. Microsoft has been angling for always online since 2013. Imagine playing a single player game and your isp has issues then reality hits when you can’t access your game or features thereof.

They should just put a bullet in it and start working on the next halo game with a proper campaign and multiplayer mode. Their GaaS model tanked, they need to accept it.

The console is in stock and Spider-Man 2 is on the way. I’m expecting console bundles too, Spider-Man moves hardware.
Sad thing is multiple final fantasy games were released on the XBOX platforms but the sales were abysmal. Thereafter Square went with the platform that had the sales. It’s called business.

Believe it or not I’ve never played this game ever. Watched my bro play the opening segment when they dock with the big ship and that’s it. May give this a go as he always raved about dead space 1.
They told us lies. 12 teraflops was supposed to be the be all and end all. Halo bombed, Forza doesn’t have a release date, Redfall looks like left 4 dead with vampires and everybody who invested in a XBOX is praying for a studio acquisition to go through. A studio acquisition…How much can their support base swallow? Do they even have a rock bottom?

You only buy the console once. You buy games multiple times. Problem here is two fold, there are no big AAA releases and GamePass is cannibalising them as it has fostered “I will wait for GamePass” or “It’s free Day One on GamePass” attitude. In short MS made their own bed.

Not all people have access to the internet or high speed internet. Even in the US there are swathes of areas with no or weak connectivity. Outside of the US high speed internet can be quite pricey.
I have a 250mbs down and 100mbs up line and some online games don’t run optimally. As for streaming, the lag is disgusting and quite frankly unplayable.
