Those some games are still an unknown. Starfield gameplay looks like cookie cutter Bethesda offering.

Even Forbes can’t spout their bias, it’s so obvious which console has 2023 on lockdown. I bought a PS5 for Final Fantasy XVI and VII Rebirth. Spider-Man is just tasty icing on my cake.

I disagree. A decent PC setup with the latest high end VR gear costs more than a PS5 and the PSVR 2.

That being said, I won’t be getting one but I still see this as viable. In fact it may actually drive PS5 sales for a certain market segment.

If Darwin was still around even he would question his theory of evolution based on some of the comments here. It’s simple; 17 countries required. The biggest holdout is not the United States it’s the European agency as many territories fall under them. This deal will likely go through but it will go through with concessions, the Europeans don’t play. And even if it goes through what are you hoping to see, XBOX overtaking PS because of the casual mob and their COD fixation? All that I see is a...

True but I just got off my PS1 playing Vagrant Story. My save from 2004 was intact on my memory card.

@ Shinoff I forgot about Infinite Discovery… there was also this JRPG based off Chopin’s death can’t get to its name. Lost Odyssey was fantastic once you got the hang of the timing the battle system introduced.
It’s amazing they had all those games and still failed to get buy in from Japan.

Colour me interested, a first person shooter without multiplayer…the premise seems interesting, going to keep my eye on this one.

Thank you. Exclusives allow developers to concentrate on a console and develop a game attuned to it. This results in games that showcase a consoles capabilities thereby motivating more people to buy said console. This has been an industry norm since it’s inception and frankly a very good practise as it drives companies to push the industry forward.

Numbers don’t lie.

No they didn’t. Please refer to Blue Dragon, the Last Remenant and Lost Odyssey sales figures. The XBOX 360 also had timed exclusives on others like Star Ocean and Tales of Vesperia but to no avail. Ironically I bought a 360 for the JRPGs in 2007.

They can make a Civilisation like game where you control major gas and oil lines throughout a multinational continent and can cut off supply at a whim….oh wait….

They would actually have to RELEASE those games lol. Mark my words even if when this acquisition goes through do you honestly believe it will change the culture at the XBOX division? The Zenimax acquisition failed to do so.
