I’m agree with GamerRN, as a budget machine it makes a lot of sense. That coupled with the fact that you can use it to run emulators makes it enticing. The only thing that stopped me from pulling the trigger is that it will likely become obsolete as this generation progresses and games become more demanding. I would be interested inclined to pick one up if Elder Scrolls 6 is released on it, sooner if Starfield is any good.
This bundle sort of reminds me of the PS1 bundle that came with two DualShocks back in the day. I sort of hope Sony releases grey faceplates with a classic coloured PS logo sticker we can place below them.

I don’t think it will do too well there, it’s too Western inspired for them. FF16 May have a western medieval setting but it carries the Final Fantasy name so we know what to expect in its case. That and Dragon Quest are absolute behemoths. I’m also expecting Yakuza 8 to do well.
Expect ps5 sales to be propelled by Final Fantasy 16 in Japan.
In European territories it’s PlayStation or bust. We know where the games are at.
That going to be my approach too. The demo was probably prepped at a certain point in the games development. It’s still on my radar.
I preordered the limited edition too, comes with the cloth map, can’t wait.
Release a limited edition ps5 with embossed faceplates and bundle the game. Will move bucketloads in Japan, I would buy one.
I hope there is an improvement from the demo. Fingers crossed this turns out to be good then I’m adding it to my buy list for the year.
