It may not have the same gameplay loop like the first game which aimed to reconnect the Chryal network. Seeing that that was accomplished in the first game perhaps this instalment will move away from deliveries?
XBOX never experienced production and and stock availability issues. In Europe both the series X and S were available on store shelves. People here lean heavily towards PlayStation.
At this point the hardcore crowd are more focussed on current generation consoles. Sure Switch has the new Zelda coming out but third party support is still sparse and heavy hitters are hampered by the aged hardware.
Xbox Game Pass in 2023 has Starfield… that’s all.
Title fixed.
And you can wait till next generation for this generations games.
What’s Bing? Is related to Zune?
See these numbers climb with Spider-Man 2
Kinect tanked two consoles over a generation and a half. The 360 never recovered after it and the One was hobbled out of the gate because of it.
Perhaps the best course of action is to release a dedicated handheld and a console with specs closer to the ps5 and series x.
Their version of a Phoenix Wright game
Why are people still harping on about a Pro Switch? The current model is selling by the bucketload and Tears of the Kingdom was developed for the current switch specs. Same applies to the PS5 and XBOX, stock availability is only now starting to normalise together with uniformed production processes. I can understand the sentiment with the Switch, it been a while since it’s release but with the other consoles this generation hasn’t even kicked off properly.
I have Extra and for me it’s a no. I already had played most of the games on the service and own a good few of them on physical disc. I also want to see more classics being released as that was the main draw card for me. I have my physical collection of PS1 and PS2 titles, for me the service is a way so as not to scratch my discs and place unnecessary wear on my legacy consoles.
I remember buying a DS and a 3DS to play some games lol.
Either way it’s a loss for Microsoft. The acquisition goes through but they do jack with the publisher as they have done with their other acquired publishers and studios. They can’t manage jack, they just dilute what the original developers brought to the table see Halo and Gears of War. They also obviously lose if the acquisition doesn’t go through.
If this acquisition together with GamePass fails to put XBOX in the lead then it should be evident that they will never take the crown ...
Imagine they do buy Square and convince Sakaguchi to take the helm…a man can dream.
If you guys are so concerned about Square how about actually BUYING their games? Historic sales figures indicate XBOX owners are not interested in their titles unless you waiting for them to be released on GamePass
This comment was referring to the article itself not to your comment. The reactionary hive mind persist…
@The3faces if you never played a Final Fantasy game get start with the original FF7. Some may consider it dated but the story is spectacular and the mechanics still hold up. If you only have an XBOX I think the console can be loaded with an emulator and that’s one way you can access it. Give it a go.
Sony had moderate success with the PSP. The proprietary memory cards for the Vita was part of the reason for its demise. Another contributing factor was simply that the Vita was way ahead of it time; it had the specs but developers opted to focus on console development instead of maximising the handhelds potential as that’s where the install base was. I still have mine which I use as my portable emulator player.
