On point, the sunken ruins are fascinating
I would literally jump and hit the ceiling if they announce a simple remaster of max Payne 3.
When the literal future if a console (in its rabid but albeit smaller fan base minds) is dependent n the acquisition of a publisher we sit with this drivel.
Sony is not in a tough place. Sony has not been in a tough place for four generations, they had to fight tooth and nail in their third gen but still came back and kicked their competitor’s butt. Want to know why? It’s not because a lame duck service, it’s because they do what they do; they release high quality games. Simple.
The code name for the development of this title is Minefield. Todd must be aware this game is under a magnifying glass even before it’s release.
You used “polished” and Bethesda right next to one another lol.
It’s the ray tracing, space has lots of rays.
I know. This game alone is worth the price of admission. For those that haven’t played Forbidden West, enjoy.
And play as Atreus for 50% of the game? No thanks, whilst I enjoyed the Atreus segments, it was their moderation that made them enjoyable in the first place.
Is water wet?
You didn’t get the memo from Microsoft themselves?
Denial is real. They will minimise, rationalise, justify, project, compare and espouse all in a bid to hold on to their core belief that GamePass is sustainable.
For now. Certain publishers like Take Two call their bullshit by publicly stating they see no advantage of placing big hitters on GamePass as AAA games sell well. Maybe not on XBOX based on the Hogwarts Legacy sale figures… Microsoft shot themselves through both their knees and crotch with GamePass.
@S2Killinit and the Sony AAA games show that old school game development and releases are where the bread and butter are at. God of War Ragnarok is a prime example of this. GamePass is just a Trojan horse, and an ill conceived one at that.
As Johnny Depp would say….Cest La Vie
Uncannily just like Days Gone.
Microsoft may yet release numbers as they whine and bitch to the FTC @Knushwood. I would really like to see those actual figures. Remember those 360 days when they were all too happy to publish those?
If people don’t want your product and prefer another company’s offering over yours for three CONSECUTIVE cycles spanning 22 years there’s really nothing you can do.
@VenomUK makes sense. Historically PlayStation always hold the highest number of physical sales for big releases. Also many people prefer buying the disc ps5 over the digital edition.
They selling so fast that some stores don’t have stock on their shelves. a salesman told me that the most popular bundle is GOW but if no longer available people will just buy the Horizon one or stand alone consoles.
One of two things happening, certain titles did sell as well as anticipated or the acquisition is not going through and the shareholders have to be appeased.
