Insomniac also proved themselves with Fuse.
Oh wait.
He called him a bigot. Hardly supporting.
And hopefully, The Crew fails.
You know always-online DRM is being shoved down gamers' throats these days when an offline mode is being touted as a feature.
That's the best thing about PC, it remasters the games itself if you're hardware is sufficiently capable. No need to re-purchase the games or any of that nonsense.
But I digress.
Because it makes the game dependent on an internet connection. When the servers are inevitably shut down in a few years, that "game" you paid $60 for is now a paperweight.
I love how companies keep telling us what the future is going to look like. They seem hell-bent on shoving "the cloud" down our throats.
What story lol.
No.
And always-online.
Automatic boycott from me then.
This is exactly why Ubisoft is showing a fetish for online-only game - more DLC/microtransactions, easier to monetize, etc.
I remember when games used to let you unlock stuff through cheat codes or through achievement.
Ubisoft is delusional. They love ignoring single-player games so as to continuously push and promote their "always-online, always-connected, persistent, connected, world" fetish.
So much for increased focus on PC, lol.
Console gaming may not be dead in Japan, but Microsoft pretty much is.
I hope it's not a mobile game.
So much for Microsoft's renewed focus on PC gaming, lol.
Microsoft has been saying this for the last 7 or 8 years. I'll believe it when I see it, but Im not getting my hopes up.
There still are unlockables and cheats in games these days. Problem is, you need to pay for them.
