Guess that whole "cloud" thing isn't working out too well.
Barf.
"Will Include Several World Premier Announcements".
Like a new engine.
Oh wait.
If "you'll have the option" to avoid multiplayer, why is the game always-online?
Looks slick.
In other news, Sony shares skyrocket in after-hours trading.
What else does Ubisoft's crystal ball say?
They're definitely "shaking things up" with that exact same engine.
Hope this works out. I miss SOCOM.
Good to see. I think lately Nintendo and Sony realize that they're not necessarily targeting the exact same markets/crowds and therefore are not necessarily in direct competition with one another.
I did like Jack Tretton's quote a while back, where he apologized for criticizing the 3DS and said a bigger gaming audience and healthy industry was a good thing for all gaming companies. Something along the lines of "A rising tide lifts all boats".
No, we're actually not hard enough on the Xbox One. Any console which seeks to redefine game ownership and consumer rights (for the worst) deserves to fail miserably.
Yet another gaming publisher in a longer line that seeks to deprive of us of our rights as consumers by turning games into unplayable paperweights and completely dependent on an online connection (even with a single player).
Time to fight back gamers, or we'll continue to have this crap shoved down our throats.
Not even remotely.
Not impressed. That looks current-gen.
The big deal is that, when the servers get turned off in a few years, your game will disappear into cyberspace. For the overwhelming majority of gamers, the issue of ownership is make-or-break, and rightfully so.
And they want to move gaming to the cloud.
LOL.
Isn't this the same guy who criticized Uncharted 3 for being "more of the same" when his fingerprints were all over Gears of War 2, 3, and probably Judgement?
Welcome to cloud-based console gaming, where you "buy" a game for $60 only to have it evaporate in a few years when its servers are shut off.
One word: SimCity.
These prices are not official yet. The ones being sold on Amazon are from third-party sellers and are NOT from Amazon themselves.
