I'll take the physical copy. Maybe if if Steam has it on sale for less than $5 I will pick it up there too.
Also, for people complaining about graphics. There are some great games for you to play instead, like Ryse, Crysis 3, etc.
Some people seem to think it's a good idea to have to log into a remote server to play their games.

Exactly. I buy mostly physical and DRM free GOG games. I also buy on Steam sometimes and see no reason why it has to be one or the other.
A lot of it might have to do with marketing. Companies trying to maximize profits by forcing new paradigms upon people.
Might be time to make an IGF replacement also.

Not to worry. The sites promoting that garbage are already losing ad revenue, traffic, and credibility.
