Picked it up on GOG a few months ago. Happy to be playing through it right now.
It's a game that could use PROPER sequel.
As long as they don't try to "appeal to a wider audience" by turning it in to trash and alienating everyone(RE series) we could have a winner.
If they make it even more hardcore that would be great too.

GOG and others are good Fry. I can backup my games on a second HD also. Physical is my favorite but drm free is a close second.
My thoughts exactly Bitby. GOG is pretty good though and it's great to have options.
They are only better now in terms of graphics. Games like Bloodborne give me hope though.

Similar story here. It's come down to me playing to "give my mind a break" in order to avoid mental exhaustion. It's a good and legitimate excuse. I will never entirely give up the things that I love and keep me in touch with my youth.

But that probably wouldn't be necessary because I could just hop over to GOG or wherever and just buy a game.
CDs weren't replaced by MP3s, and MP3s certainly weren't replaced by steaming audio, etc., ad infinitum. The fact that technology can coexist is obvious and anyone who thinks otherwise is not looking at reality. People can be pretty gullible though
It may catch on to an extent, but people are hyping it up as it is has to replace physical media and even downloadable games (gog, steam). This is kind of foolish.
Netflix is great, but Blurays (even DVDs) are still popular. It didn't replace them. Even audio CDs are still being sold. Mp3s still exist and will continue to be sold in spite of audio streaming services. It's somewhat of a free market at this point. Also, video games != movies, even though the comparison ...

If I can play my GOG games without much trouble and it works well with Counterstrike (win/linux) I will get it.
