This could be a cross-controller game?
What duli14 said. This guy wants to make a new Alice game and is in talks with EA. He basically says (re-worded) 'No biggie! It's not important for you to be able to play the games you bought'
It may currently be pointless but it may be signs of a new trend, you never know.
I love Japanese!
Taitoru :=) Title, it makes so much sense :)
Sweet Engrish!
Why the need to sell Vita's then? They'd bundle dual shocks with their xperia's and they'd be done. I don't think it is feasible for anyone to carry a DS3 on the go, but even for home use, I don't think Sony would want a strong alternative to Vita for streaming (Phone + DS3), nor that I think anybody needs that combo.
I don't know where the mandatory profile came from. I remember them talking to devs about designing their games suitable for streaming to Vita but I'm not sure whether it will be mandatory.
Oh, you beat me to it, half a day ago.
Anyway, it is simply copied from Battlefield 3 website:
http://www.battlefield.com/...
The page's description in the source is exactly the same, accept it says Battlefield 3.
True, and:
"Find the latest news, videos, and trailers for Battlefield 4, EA and DICE's award-winning first-person-shooter available for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC,"
I think a the web-developer simply copied from existing promo material of Battlefield 3.
Last time I checked, Battlefield 4 didn't win any awards! And it doesn't even try to mean "latest installment of the award winning series" for some of you who would...
Prepare your toilet paper.
I can't understand the agree / disagree disparity here.
Yeah, can you believe we are even discussing it?
If it is CG, it is better than Avatar, because the skin slides on top of the bone structures.
It is not CG, and the fact we are even discussing it somehow befuddles me.
I also think "always connected" is not a required feature.
That said, it MAY require you to connect once in a while like Steam, there may not be a forever-offline mode.
What "always connected" means is that when a connection is available, it will always make use of it, downloading patches / updates in the background. It may not necessarily mean the DRM is tied to constant connectivity.
I wish DICE wasn't working for EA. I love Battlefield games, but I hate to give EA my hard-earned cash. I haven't bought any other EA game for so long, precisely because of their shoddy business practices.
Quite similar to what I said, but better put. They'd rather sell PS4's than PS3's, and they need to get PS3 users on board first and foremost.
My suggestion to Sony:
Make GT6 a timed exclusive to PS4, 3 months after release (to not overshadow DriveClub), let the GT fans flock to buy PS4's. Wait another 6 months, and release the game on PS3, sit back and enjoy the record amount of sales.
TLoU will certainly be PS3 only, but I'm not sure about Beyond TS. I don't think it will affect PS3 as bad as it would benefit the PS4 if Beyond was MultiPSform. Just made that word up. I'm that good.
Kidding aside, having a beefed up Beyond Two Souls on PS4 may help show off the PS4's capabilities in the movie-esque game department, and fans of Heavy Rain who already own a PS3 may want to buy PS4 because of this. Since there won't be many games at launch ...
I think it is a valid trade off from 1080p30fps.
To the disagrees: I'll prepare a 60fps 720p video vs 1080p30fps as an action sequence. Do a blind test and 60fps will feel much better.
PS plus is so ridiculously advantageous to its members, that I'm not even sure Sony is doing the right thing business-wise. You know, when people pay to just play online on the competing platform, and you have this.
I've just become a member, and I already have access to more games than I can spare time, almost reducing the need to buy a new game to 0, except for the games I'm 100% hyped. So in that sense, I may be spending less overall for games?? Don't tell ...
