I think u have the windows 8 rumor on the 720 wrong. The speculation is that xbox live with be compatible on windows 8 pcs (similiar to how Steam works on the pc and ps3 currently). I havent seen any rumor saying that the 720 will have a windows 8 os.

Reminds me of car buying. U can buy the base model or pay more for the power windows, leather, etc. Its basic economics that the cost of making more advanced games is gunna cost more and more.

Um hate to break it to you but 90-95% of the xbox games are already compatible on the 360, so there wouldnt be much profit in making an emulator.

Mmo games were never in doubt. Its the single player games that have been typicaly very pirated and thus hurting sales. Plus so many of the online fps games were so full of hacks & cheats they were unplayable.
Seems like alot of these issues have been addressed, plus console hardware is getting pretty dated now, so I can see why pc game sales are on the up swing.
itunes save all yur downloads to yur user name. so it wouldnt matter if u got yur device lost, stolen, or u jus flat out bought a new one. u just log in and re-download everything.

Wasn't the same score given to the last CoD which went on to break every video game sales records? Sad that groups of emo gamers can get together to wreck the scores of games they don't percieve as being "cool".
