this isn't always true. for example, i purchased fallout new vegas years ago. i played the game and liked it. however, after putting in 30-40 hours (of course, a good chunk of that time was idled time logged towards my total "play time") the game crashes. no matter how many times i restart, the game always crashes when the valkarie summon spontaneously appears. players can't control when she appears, so there's not much i can do to progress in the game.

doesn't matter. the developers KNOWINGLY lied about the product they sold people. murray said there's multiplayer and you can "play with your friend". i'm willing to give consumers the benefit of the doubt that they trusted the HEAD DEVELOPER and perhaps it took a LONG while before they found out many of the advertised features weren't in the game.
