Lol, MICROSOFT AND CHINA of one mind on stamping out customers' ability to resell paid for merchandise.

It's funny so many people in America deride China's communist principles on business and the economy, yet here is an AMERICAN company whose original plan goes hand and hand with Chinese policies...hypocrisy at its finest.

Are you supposed to be cool? Or are you just brave on the internets?

Btw, it brings a smile to my face when someone with an obvious lack of English writing skills would make a remark about another person's comprehension.

Bravo, tee_bag, bravo.

Jack

I read the title of the article. The title clearly infers that "star citizen wants 50 million for alien languages."

A title should be accurate in summarizing the body of what the author writes. Either the author does not know how to title his work correctly, or he purposefully wrote it in a way to generate clicks to his article to get paid.

I don't believe in supporting these click-bait articles and put ad money in ...

It takes 50 million to "create" some alien languages? Lmao.

Ti SaKet 50 NoilLom ot Etaerc eMos SaGaugNal?

Look, i just made up a new language...tell them i'll sell it to them for only 47 million.

Allah bless the stupid and their money :)

Funny, they denied any breach up to the time i removed my credit cards and cancelled my account.

Over 200 pages of a forum complaint thread and they issued a statement saying they had absolutely no breaches.

Had 3 cards compromised in a span of 6 months shopping with them. Cancelled my account with them and no longer shop on their site, and guess what, no breaches since then. Yes, for about a year now, i no longer get mysterious purchases from jackass...

Beware of this site. I had credit card info stolen and charges placed all over the US. Three separate cards at three different times spanning 6 months.

There was a page of complaints on the forums with 200+ pages of complaints on the forums of slickdeals.

I stopped buying from them and removed my credit cards info from their databases. Have not had a fraudulent charge since then.

They denied everything.

The concern comes from the issue that it appears they are abusing the "spirit" of the kickstarter program.

When you have people abuse something designed as a goodwill type model, it will begin to degrade the whole program. This in turn may lead to people shunning the program and less people will have faith in this.

As it is now, arbitrary numbers are put up as stretch goals. Money donated is not accounted for and then, even when people know th...

Wow, people have pretty low standards as to what "VR" really means. I will have stay out of this one. Other than a likely degradation of one's eyesight, I'm not sure what strapping a small TV to one's face will ultimately achieve.

Edit* I will concede that this MIGHT take off with the help of the porn industry.

Looks to be "$75 of microsoft munny". In effect, fake currency to buy digital "1" and "0"s. This would cost MS barely anything since printing digital content codes isn't very costly.

In fact, only thing it should cost them is more negative PR. First, having to lower the perceived value of their hardware yet again, and second, there will be a lot of non targetted customers who won't get to benefit from this. It would seem those that ...

Funny...maybe if greedy and unscrupulous American businesses didn't exploit cheap Chinese labor and other 3rd world countries economies, they wouldn't need to sell you the knock-offs so many Americans like to have other poeple think they can afford.

Just my two cents on the matter.

After checking out the "difficulty" video, I really question the player shown in it.

Why in the world does he keep rushing into a gang of enemies? It's obvious from a few minutes of watching his gameplay strategy that he needs a different approach. I mean, why is a character in a catsuit standing in the middle of a group consisting of 4-5 opponents.

From the way this individual is playing (sloppy movement, sloppy attacks), I willing to bet...

There's no way in hell they would cut the price of the hardware 25%, when their latest edition is completely sold out and being sold on ebay/amazon for a near 40-50% mark up of current retail price.

It looked pretty interesting when the first trailer came out. I then tried the demo and then lost all interest in it.

I'd say check out the demo first.

These limited collector's set seem to be not so limited anymore. I guess it's "limited" to how many they can churn out now. How sad.

Yeah, refund the idiots who 1) insist on buying "digital", and 2) can't read a proper document of sale.

It's sad these "journalists", who are given the opportunity to voice the concerns of their readers, fail to call out these publicity spins. These guys know it's total BS. These journalist know that people didn't pay 200+ for a PS4 controller. These journalist also know that people aren't really hungry for this "endless stream of indies" (it's actually the fact that there is very little to eat, that people seem so excited for crackers).

You should try it out sometime. But I'd strongly advise against putting any investment in it. Why do I say this?

1) Spent money on 3D tvs and expensive active glasses. High quality stuff. What do I get to enjoy? Barely anything is ever released for 3D...other than half-assed post-production 3D cash grabs.

2) PlayStation Move...yeah, it was the newest and coolest tech. Have two PS eyes and a load of peripherals and controllers. Guess what, suppo...

Actually, VB induced many medical issues associated with FORCING YOUR EYES TO FOCUS ON AN OBJECT INCHES FROM YOUR FACE.

That was the real problem. Word got out that people were suffering from headaches and eyestrain and that gave some horrible press. Sales plummeted (high price point contributed to this also) and, as a result, software support disappeared. IIRC, only nine or so games made it to market.

We haven't heard from the medical community ye...

Attended the one in Oklahoma City. Sold out but had lots of no shows that even after the waiting list people were seated, still had close to maybe 100+ seats available.

Audio was rather low. Digital signal was terrible for some key (interesting) parts of the show. Screen went black a few times. It was very poor in presentation, in my opinion.

Add on the issue that Sony's conference was very lackluster, and you can hopefully see my utter disappoint...

Actually, both camps could technically be telling the truth. If both are to be believed, this is the likely scenario:

The Last Guardian for "PS3" has been canceled.

The Last Guardian for "PS4" lives on.

Makes sense since it appears the PS3 build was problematic.
