I don't think the PSV will be outsold 2-to-1 by a 6 year-old handheld when all of the PSP's games will be playable on PSV, as well as on PS3, and considering PSV is essentially PSP 2.0. Whatever reason people are buying the PSP for, they will buy the PSV for.
Time travel?
Guild Wars 2 will be nice if it ever sees the light of day ;)
Great read. A lot of devs and publishers are talking about how the outage could improve the service. Let's hope they are right :)
Not sure if serious? O_o
That's it. I'm not saying it's bad or trying to be pessimistic, just stating it will take some time to be implemented and fine tuned.
Bang on the money my good man ;)
Yeah I agree it's getting lost by the wayside but I honestly don't mind. I like this special little group of hardcore Deus Ex fans who are really excited for the release :D
Deserved every point - it builds from the original perfectly and provides a far more focused experience overall.
It definitely makes a difference
Have you played a game like Infinity Blade? It uses the Unreal 3 engine and is just as good looking as a console game, or RAGE for iPad is another that is amazing. I wouldn't discount the iOS platform just yet.
Thanks mate :) I always encourage debate and questions, but I'm glad you enjoyed the review. inFAMOUS 2 is on the brink of greatness, and it just needs a little extra push to send it into the stratosphere
Thanks for the kind words mate. Glad you liked the review. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this game, it is a BLAST but I feel it should have evolved just a little more....
@Sitris - That is a fair point and I totally see where you are going with that. The whole thing with this particular game is that morality is the main theme - it has been since the first title however they never really explore it to an extent where it feels like a mechanic. It's just there....and rarely has impact where titles like Mass Effect 3 use a similar mechanic to great effect.
Obviously they can't change the gameplay completely - however they need to provide ...
It's not that inFAMOUS 2 is a bad game - I've had a blast playing through it for this review. I'd just like to see it evolve a little more is all. It was basically inFAMOUS 1.5 and the lack of morality impact was a little disappointing.
However the combat is just SO MUCH FUN!
My point exactly. Show us something tangible Nintendo, then I might get excited!
I'm skeptical to say the least that Nintendo can deliver a compelling online platform. The fact that they used footage from other platforms and didn't make it public knowledge on stage - waiting until after the presentation is a low blow too.
I'm keeping my excitement to a minimum until we see some concrete evidence that Nintendo can deliver a hardcore experience.
It's not even the fact of re-buying it. It's the matter that developers should be looking to re-invent and invigorate the industry rather than rehashing old favourites to make a buck.
It's not news....that's why it's listed as an OPINION piece.
I think it's a lot more than just games. Combination of the mobile market dominance, 3D confusion, launch price. Consoles have sold well in the months proceeding launch without strong titles. The market just isn't the same anymore.
