and over a decade later square still don't have the sense to see people in europe would love to be able to buy parasite eve and so restrict it to the us, and of course japan.
just release the english language version for flips sake, i know square didn't consider europe at all back then so thought translating it wasn't worth it, and they're not going to do it now, but there are plenty of people who can read english, even if it's not their first language it's one...

not only does it mean titles are rushed but they have to put in unnecessary features to justify this years version over the practically identical version from last year, and they don't have time to fully test and plan these features so they're rarely an improvement, that's why fifa has 9 pages of its manual dedicated to the controls.

half a million is an early estimate, that number will probably drop by a couple of hundred thousand as the accuracy of the forecast increases.
the day the industry does that is the day it begins an inexorable slide to another games crash, don't think the games industry is too big for that, because if they keep treating their customers like a resource to be exploited they'll find they wont have any for much longer.
we're heading towards the tipping point here, i don't know how far off it is, but it's coming closer, and when it comes it'll be the greed of the industry that will be to blame.
preowned games have been around almost as long as games, probably a couple of days less at most :)
